  • Absolutely worthless program

    I downloaded it specifically because I need a program to record copyrighted sportscaster clips for channel upload under the fair usage act (you know, the way thousands of YouTubers magically manage to do every single day without issue). This program was supposed to accomplish that without the stupid “black screen” preventing said recording. So I download it, set it up, and guess what? Black screen! It’s no more useful than what the extremely limited built-in screen saver can already do on your Mac. Complete waste of time; so glad I didn’t buy the full version (which I’d planned to do; certainly not now, though).

    I need to capture clips of films/YouTube/other things for school presentations without getting a blacked out screen. EaseUS advertises it can do this with no problem. So I got this, paid for the pro subscription (20.00), and followed the instructions on their website for how to capture clips from “restricted” video using the enhanced mode. Guess what? There is no enhanced mode. And the interface and features shown on their website are completely different from the actual, much simpler and basic interface you get. So it will not record any videos that I needed it to record without getting a black screen. I have other video capture programs I’ve gotten for free that do the same thing this does (record your screen if you’re typing, for instance- but not Zooming!). I’ve emailed them about this issue and gotten no response. I’d be willing to remove this review if they replied and remedied the situation, but right now I feel like I got scammed and I’m pretty annoyed.

    ifs good if your willing to pay $20 a month or only want to record for one minute but other then that its useless you can only save the first minute of what you record unless u pay for it which would be fine but personally i think $2o a month is outragous

    I was just hoping for a simple internal audio recording software to record a song. Instead, I had to record the song in four pieces because you have to pay to save more than one minute at s time. However, this was by far the simplest, easist-to-figure-out program I've probably ever used, so definitely use it if you just need to record a few seconds without the hassle of learning a big fancy program.

    ....without telling you before you download. It's such a lame tactic to get people to pay. If I like your app and need it, I will pay. If you cut it off at the knees before I get to see if it suits my needs, not so much.
