Can’t login with my Gmail account. Network error? Tried 4 networks. C’mon please do better.
  • Why is there a second app?

Why… like why is a second app necessary? Why can’t I just create and edit events in the normal meetup app? This app is so superfluous and stupid. It just takes up extra space on my phone when it would be so much easier to just let me do everything I need to do in the main app. Why does this exist and why is it so obnoxious to use? Just let me make and edit events in one app instead of having to switch between two. It’s so annoying and just…. Really really stupid imo

Almost completely useless. Sends you to the website. I have no idea why it’s even an app.

Cant even log in due to an unspecified error and you expect people to pay $45/month loll
  • Glitchy

Text formatting only works sometimes. If you accidentally swipe down before saving your event description, all progress will be lost. Poor design in my opinion.
  • Fee

I enjoy using Meetup app to meet new people and make new friendsBut I don’t like that we have to pay to use this app, the organizer, paying a service fee every month is plenty enough.
  • Limited. Buggy. Unnecessary.

It’s hard to put words to apps this limited, buggy, and unnecessary. The same functionality for organizers exist in the standard Meetup app and allows you one app to manage events. Then along comes this app, which has not been functionally changed in years and cannot even enter a description for an existing event without moving text around randomly within a standard text entry box. It’s like Meetup hired a bunch of college interns to write a redundant app over a weekend based on web frames and awful cross platform development tools. At least try to make the app have some level of functionality beyond what you already have before splitting already poor mobile apps into two separately bad apps, which are now only half as good as they were before, which was already bad. None of this makes any sense and I would encourage any fellow meet up organizer to simply delete this Organizer app and revert to the web or standard Meetup app.

Harder to use than the online version. Needs more functionality
  • Looking up events

    By Dave Puppy,
I wish we could be able to look up events by typing the name of the event a word from the event. It would be a lot easier when posting it again instead of scrolling over and over through the mini past events.
  • Priority Paid Member Waitlist Policy

Subject: Concerns Regarding Priority Paid Member Waitlist Policy I wanted to express my concern about the recent change that prioritizes paid members at the front of the waitlist. While I understand the idea of offering incentives to paid members, this policy undermines the ability of event organizers to manage their groups and waitlists as they see fit. As an organizer, part of my role is to ensure that events run smoothly, with the right balance of attendees. Having a forced prioritization system takes away my ability to make decisions based on the needs of the group or the specific event. It feels like a step backward in allowing organizers the autonomy to manage their events.
