I am a regular player of the PC version and decided to try the iOS version. It’s terrible. The amount of times it wouldn’t let me cast a card was numerous. 1 out of 3 games I had to concede because I couldn’t cast anything, even if I manually tapped the mana. When this bug occurs I can’t even long press cards to read them, but buttons to go through the phases still work. To be clear, the game is showing me I could cast cards by making them glow, but won’t actually let me. I can go 5+ turns before it happens, or it might be first turn of the game.

Explain to me how every day and we are talking every day I loose roll to play first and we are talking 30 games in a row and exaggeration and to top it off.. mana flood 90% of those games. This isn’t real magic and it’s complete garbage and complete rigged. Play for free never waste money of this game. Play MTGO vs this B.S. coming from a long time MTG player..
  • to many required updates and takes really long time to load.

  • Tutorial is broken

New player trying the app out for the first time and the tutorial battles have been near unplayable. I am hard blocked out of the fourth tutorial due to the player cards freezing in place, keeping me from selecting any characters I summon. Please fix

Just wanted to let you know your tutorial is broke to the point of not being able to get passed it. Game runs fine but the cards get stuck in random spots on the screen or don’t play at all. I’m a returning player and would love to play.

The tutorial is arduously long even if you select that you have played the game before. The tutorial also breaks on the third game. The cards don’t go onto the board properly and they overlap so you can’t read any of them.
  • Player base is to copy paste

You play against the same decks No individual brewing just the same decks player base can’t think for themselves. Build 2 or 3 decks that play one way with very little counter play.

The game is rigged. They have a deck matching feature that pairs you up against people with decks specifically designed to negate whatever strategy your deck has. The game is infuriatingly rigged. I’ve talked to many others who feel the same way.
  • Pay to win game. Like a trip to Vegas where the house takes your money.

Good: It’s a fun game at times but you have to stay on top of the meta. The meta is essentially a race to turn four. Guess who gets there first. Hint: it’s not the player who goes second. Bad: This game is VERY pay-to-win. Crafting meta decks requires you pull a lot of card packs. I’ve tried this free-to-play and once you finally get a solid deck put together, the cards rotate and your somewhat winning deck is trash. Suspicious: I have noticed something in Standard best of one: you’ll be able to win a several games to start. Then you’ll start to notice your starting hands get worse and worse. Even with a mulligan - I get almost the same exact hand, including the single-copy card I have in my deck. This would never happen with the physical card game because the odds of you pulling a card, shuffling, and pulling three of the exact same cards in a 60-card deck is astronomical. Then sometimes it feels like you’re either getting throttled or flooded with mana. It seems suspicious. Slot machines in Vegas employ a similar tactic: give a taste of winning early to hook people. Then they spend their money as they continue to lose, thinking the next win is around the corner.
