  • Do not play while on the phone or discord.

Everytime I’m talking on the phone or discord my magic app stops working and crashes. It’s ridiculous I want to relax on the phone with my friends and play but not it won’t happen. I have don’t so many things to reset it but nothing has changed. I have spent a lot of money on magic in real life and i will not spend this money on here.

Would give 0 if I could. The hand shuffler and drawing mechanism is very obviously rigged. Somehow magically I don’t see 40% of whats in my deck and opponents get the same curves meanwhile I have 12 one drops in my deck and can’t find one because of a good winrate. Thus every component of an actual card game that should be competitive is not because of a shuffler. And… do I have to mention how bogus the store and events are. All Wizards knows how to do is make a once good game worse.

I have been trying to 100% this game but it seems to only want to 100% my wallet. 5 out of 5 will do again.

Fun game, rewards for playing regularly and no pay walls. Some caveats about the game: 1)I feel like i consistently get matched up against people that are AFK. You sit there waiting to mulligan your hand or wait for them. I wish the game would recognize these actions and put those players in some sort of bracket against like players or out of the active participation group. 1b) happens often where your winning and people try and wait you out. Play a card and wait for timers it seems just to aggravate you into a concede. 2)I swear the game recognize that you have won a few rounds and floods you one way or the other all creatures you can’t play or lands. 3)Vast majority of players seem to have the same 5 or 6 decks and it’s like the same old skit. 4) servers often get sluggish.

I’ve played paper MTG off & on since Fallen Empire… The cost of Gems in order to purchase packs could use help and the card style Cosmetic are stupidly over priced for digital add-on., That Said, I love the formats, deck building, card selection. When you have One or Four copies of a card you have that copy for every deck verus the in physical copy.
  • NOT for brewers or jank

The way the matching algorithm works in non-ranked matches means your jank brews will HEAVILY match up against near mirrors. You will not be able to test your cool new idea against any wide variety of other decks and ideas, only ones that landed a weight score close to yours. You can play ranked, but then you're just facing the 5 best YouTube meta decks over and over, so not much more variety there.
  • No randomness

Nothing about this game is fun you either get a handfull of mana or non at all. Matchmaking isn’t random at all because no matter what deck you choose to play with you will always be matched with the opposite deck of what you are playing which negates and disproves that your playing random ppl. Tested this theory a ton of times and it it never fails. You can almost always bank on the game doing weird stuff to keep it from being a fair game the winner is always predetermined before they every shuffle the deck
  • Rigged

The match making in this game is not good at all. I may have an account for awhile but I stopped playing because how rigged it felt. Coming back to play it still feels the same and it’s unfair. Especially when all the players I play has a bigger library of cards to use and I’m limited with what I have. Just because I win a few games it matches me with experience players and I go on a losing streak that doesn’t break until I quit for few hours. It’s it fair I believe it should just be random and play random players especially if it’s not a ranked match up. I believe why a lot of people stop playing this because of the inconsistency. Also the fact that I can’t splash money to purchase better gems to buy more packs. This game has become a PAY TO WIN. It’s not fun anymore.
