    The script is wrong tho. It needs to be: on set_mode(dark) #Do Something like... tell application "System Events" tell appearance preferences to set dark mode to not dark mode end tell end set_mode

    This is a perfect app... The UserScript thing is a little hard to get right but once it's working it's perfect so stick at it and if it doesn't work first try google errors, look up how AppleScript works, and use autofill until it does because it's great once it works!!!!!!!!!!!! They provide code that should work as well it didn't for me but I found a way it's worth trying to figure out!!!!

    Excellent app. It easy to switch to dark mode using the menu bar icon. (Why Apple doesn't include this boggles the mind...) You just need to follow the simple instructions for Script Editor to set up this functionality.

    custom settings are so much better than the newly added auto dark change in the catalina OS. also... love that the coder teaches you how to write scripts in the app!!!!

    Simple and effective... Does what it says on the tin :) I had one issue, but within a short time of contacting the developer, an update was sent and now everything works great!

    Simply works! Just choose two desktop pictures, set up auto change from sunrise to sunset. You have brigher mac during days and dark mac during nights. Thanks!
