    I like the look of this app, but it lacks a route progression bar and has too many bugs to be really useful. If you go through an area where there is only one bar of cell service the app will constantly recalculate and give you the last directions that had been issued even though you are miles past the point where those directions were correct. When you approach an exit on an interstate highway it will tell you to keep left while showing an arrow for a left turn. It will inform you of an upcoming exit but the distance to the exit will be incorrect. It will also constantly recalculate while you’re on a long stretch of highway with no upcoming exits. It becomes nonstop recalculating without changing the route and putting out the same previous directions.

    I can’t speak an address like I can in other navigation apps. Kind of annoying to have to stop with my car and park and then type in the address and search. I can’t even let my passenger search while I’m on the road because the application is blocked while connected to CarPlay. If you can fix this minor annoyance, I’d give it an extra star too. *the developer says I can access the app on CarPlay but I can’t. The screen literally says “CarPlay connected”

    2/14/26- need ability to add waypoints including home as the last point. In the go expert app, you can only add home as a destination once you’re away from home. Apple Maps snd Google Maps have this feature in an easy way 3/18/26 need the ability to plan a trip with multiple waypoints. Otherwise I like the layout, I like the reporting options, I would like to have the capability of importing my saved places from TomTom go app to TomTom amigo; is that possible?

    Not bad but, it doesn’t seem to play well with Apple CarPlay. I have to leave app open in order to use it. I am unable to minimize to Home Screen. It’s just annoying. But as far as directions and navigation goes, this app performed good.

    It’s a great app. What would make it better is that if you had downloadable maps for off-line use and road sign symbols on the upper left hand corner in the directions for iOS Apple CarPlay. That would be awesome.

    I prefer this over Google Maps, #1 it clearly displays the addresses to places during a search so you can easily see where the locations are located, Google you need to click & scroll each one. It’s also better for a few other reasons such as clarity of the map display info & the voice.

    Since I can’t get subscription TomTom traffic to work correctly on my Jeep UConnect system, it’s nice to see this app available. However, it currently performs like a beta test product. It’s not ready to compete with the more popular navigation apps yet, but I believe with continued updates, it will get there. I really enjoy the TomTom interface, so I look forward to seeing this evolve!

    Overall it’s a great map. I use it pretty much every time I hit the road. My only problem with it is that it doesn’t let me add more road hazard as they come along after inputting the first hazard that comes along while I travel. John
