  • Pantry Items & the Grocery List

Disregard my previous note about the out of stock pantry items. I just figured it out... I'm really enjoying using this app. I read about it on one of the vegan food websites. People were discussing it in the comments section. Very glad I found out about it.
  • BEST Recipe Manager App, by FAR!

I converted over to using Paprika Recipe Manager app on my iPhone from another app (Pepperplate) that used to be free, but then decided to start charging a subscription ($35/year!) And I don't do subscriptions. I found Paprika, which also created an easy way to import your library from Pepperplate, and was only $5 ONCE (No subscription!) Best $5 I've EVER spent! Shortly after discovering how unbelievable the feature set was, I decided to buy the Mac App so I can add recipes easily when I'm on my computer, and sync seamlessly between my devices, AND have my recipes large on the screen when/if needed. My favorite features are: Ease of importing/saving recipes from websites, and getting off those disgusting, ad-ladden dumpster-fires as quickly as possible, and into a clean, easy to read, interface. Can CUSTOMIZE and modify recipies to your heart's content! Make them your own! I also copy the original recipe into the Notes section before changing anything so I can go back and reference it in case I changed something too much and need to go back a bit. LOVE how you click/tap an ingredient and it crosses it out! So you don't accidentally double-up on salt, chili pepper, etc.! And also how you tap on a step and it highlights where you're currently at. LOVE that when you email a recipe to a friend or family member, it lays it out beautifully in an email, AND includes the Paprika attachment file so if they have the app, too, they can simply import it directly into their Paprika recipe library! Categories AND sub-categories: I love that I can create as many categories and sub-categories as I want, and label things as not only what they are (desert, dinner, snack, drink, dairy-free, gluten-free, etc.) but also WHO I got the recipe from (z FROM: Mom, Zack, Sara, etc.) or even just "Recipes to try" and of course star rating them as well is great! Love the built-in timers! Love being able to add my own photos, or at least a close enough equivalent that I find online and save to represent what it is visually until I can take my own. LOVE the visual layout of thumbnail view, and that it lets you pick between that and list view. love that it as a feature for meal planning and creating a grocery list based upon what you want to make, though I haven't used this feature yet as I have a pretty good idea of what I have and what I need to buy. Only cons for me are: - Scaling: I wish you could choose EXACTLY how much to scale a recipe, based upon a primary ingredient (say recipe calls for 1.5 lbs of chicken, and I have 1.75 lbs, I'd like to be able to scale up the amount of all ingredients by 1.17x (17%) - It doesn't do my dishes for me ;p Seriously, this is one of my top 5 apps and wouldn't be able to live without it! I've convinced SO many friends and family to use it and they all rave about it now!

I’ve used this app for several years now and it’s my usual app for recipe and shopping list management. If I were more organized I’d use the meal planning features, but alas… What I’d like is the ability to organize my Pantry into location, like refrigerator, freezer, chest freezer int eh garage, shelves, or other custom locations. My chest freezer is way on the other end of my apartment complex’s parking lot, so it’s not easy to see what’s in there unless I create an outside list for reference I need to update separately.
  • Indispensable!

I don’t know what I would do without this app. I have used it for years , and among the thousands (yes thousands) of recipes I have saved are my all time favorites. The app is easy to use. I’ve organized my recipes into many categories and subcategories, and marked some as favorites, so everything is easy to find. .
  • Absolute BEST app ever

I have NEVER review apps online (or anything for that matter) but this app is single handedly become my favorite app I have every used. I am a busy mom and business owner and I would dread every Sunday having to make a meal plan, track down recipes and try to remember what everyone liked and then make a list of what groceries we needed for each recipe. This makes my life SO much easier! Not only does it take me maybe 10 minutes to plan our entire week of meals and automatically makes our grocery list based on the meals we are eating. But it also organizes all of the recipes we have tried and loved so I can easily see at a glance what meals my kids will actually eat without an arguement. In a world filled with technology and things that are supposed to make your life easier (but end up creating more work for you), I can truly say this app is the ONE thing I have tried that legitimately makes my life easier. 10/10 recommend!!!
  • My Go To

This is my Go-To, every day, recipe management system. It's so simple to download recipes and file them. I love that I can add a photo of the finished dish. I live in the country and when I do make the long drive to the grocery store, not everything I need is available so I open my app and access the recipes that require available foods right in the grocery aisle. Everything I need is at my fingertips and I don't have to rely on a pre written grocery list. 100% recommend this to everyone
  • Hands down my favorite app

So great for collecting recipes from all over in one place and accessing them across all of your devices. I love this app and have referred so many people to it over the years! You can also plan out your meals and make grocery lists easily.
  • Use it every day

Paprika is my recipe app. I use it every day and on multiple devices. I like to plan meals on my computer and add the ingredients to my ‘grocery list’. In the store, I use the app’s grocery list on my phone. It’s organized by aisles that I customized to match my usual grocery store’s layout. When it’s time to cook, I set up an iPad in the kitchen and pull up my recipe. I love Paprika and would highly recommend it.
  • I love Paprika recipe manager

I have used Paprika for over five years and love using it on my computer and my phone. It parses recipes from all the websites I use and makes them always available on my phone. This is especially useful when I am standing at the store seeing what's on sale and I'm in the mood to cook. My husband also has it on his phone and it helps him cook more by offering inspiration. Finally I have an old iPad that I now leave in the kitchen which shows the recipes as I cook. It all just really works well. I never would have thought I would use any electronic recipe manager but it has literally changed and improved my life.
