    I’ve been playing this game since I was a kid & when I first discovered mobile games. It used to be fun. You would pass levels & “bake” your way to more powerful ships to help you pass hard levels. You’d anxiously await seasonal ingredients to upgrade those ships. Well those days are long gone. The ships can no longer be upgraded. 50% of the time do they even get you through the level. Seasonal ingredients have been forgotten. There is no end goal with this game. You lose a level & you don’t want to pay? Enjoy playing it over & over again, cuz they will let you sit there for weeks. There is no incentive to play this anymore, the game goes nowhere & you achieve nothing. It used to be fun, but other mobile games have become more interesting & innovative while CKB seems to have been forgotten by its creators. I will play sometimes, but I will never pay again to enjoy it longer because you can’t even get a decent dopamine hit from passing a level. It’s just lame & utterly pointless.

    I had a recent problem with ads not advancing on a new iPad, and the game team fixed it. Thankful for their fixing their bug. I play for free; the variety is good. The game is relaxing but challenging enough too. All on the free version. Highly recommend you try it

    Im at a high level in order to advance you have to keep buying the extras. Its every level. Plus when you win a competition some of your winnings don’t automatically make it into your account. Its disappointing when you have to ask for your winnings.

    This is generally a good game, but when there is a player competition the rewards are meager even for placing first. Update 02/10/2026 - I uninstalled this game several years ago, then recently installed it to try again. Not much has changed except for the Choco panic and sprint competitions. I have been noticing that with the usual competitions (like bee or crowns races), I am not getting any rewards despite finishing in top 10. So I am going to uninstall and wait a few more years to see if things improve.
