  • Requesting adblock!

This is my go-to reader in the few occasions I need a reader to read directly from the browser as exporting the page doesnt work for whatever non-related reason. I would LOVE for an option for a built in adblock in the browser šŸ«  iā€™m not talking about the ā€œno adsā€ that are forced onto you by the app - i bought the no ad plan - iā€™m talking about the browser ads placed by websites. šŸ˜© i know there is reader mode that will get ride of the appearance of ads, but there are a handful of websites that reader mode is not very compatible with and the text gets skipped sometimes.
  • Great for Fanfiction!

I use this app to listen to fanfiction. I absolutely love it :-) I have the version with only one voice. It is easy to use and prevents me from having to get multiple apps to listed to my various fanfiction sites.
  • instead of going to the same attention Saved Content it create an unwanted folder

OK, if this is what the update itā€™s unnecessary fixing problems I cannot understand but adding a folder for a new content I just confuses me even more having to go back-and-forth between each one if itā€™s possible could you fix that? I feel like I shouldnā€™t have to do unnecessary work just to save content.
  • Constant freezing

This app is amazing and I pretty much use it daily. My extreme frustration is with the fact that it freezes constantly at the start of use. I must close the app out 7-8 times before I can even start listening. I find this outrageous when I have written to the developer about this before and have a $120/ year paid subscription. Iā€™ve written to the developer a second time and do hope they rectify the issue so I donā€™t have to unsubscribe. It is otherwise a REALLY lovely app.

I use it to convert text to speech using voices on the iPhone. I prefer the free version over the premium version. When using the premium version, the phone gets hot because it does a lot of processing.
  • (Fixed!!) Getting Ads Despite Subscription and Other Issues

Update: The issues with the ads and login have been resolved, no more problems there. Just the random lagging or stopping still occurs fairly often. Thank u for all your hard work! ā€”ā€” Iā€™m paying for the annual basic subscription for no ads, however it has suddenly started giving me ads even though I have 2 months left. Donā€™t like that there is no place within the app itself to review my subscription status/features, except for when an ad appears, there should be a dedicated option in the main menu where I can do this. Also reporting a problem through the app requires logging in, but trying to log in causes an error. Also frequently having issues where the reader will just randomly stop reading.
  • Okay app but very expensive

Pretty okay app Letā€™s you listen to websites, online books, etc plus the voices are nice Problem is that itā€™s very expensive considering that you are paying a weekly subscription of $10 yet it only has a limit off 1 million words a month and charges you $40 to buy a million more or the app stops working even though you are paying $10 a week. So it charges you $10 a week but if you listen to a book thatā€™s 1 million words in one week the app will stop working for the rest off the month unless you pay another $40 to buy another million words, however it still keeps charging you a weekly subscription.
  • Better than Speechify

Have been using this app for over a year. Will read anything for you in the most natural voices and it's easy to paste text into it or send an article to it from any source. WebOutloud had some glitches earlier on but these seem to be all worked out at this point as far as I can tell. Some of the voices - like the ones you'll listen to most - are better than Speechify and the app is less glitchy overall than Speechify plus I think this one is a better price, too. Thanks to the developer for his hard work! For some jobs like me, this is indispensable. Blessings.
  • Better than Speechify for my needs as a language learner

My problem with speechify is that I couldnā€™t look up words I didnā€™t know due to the way speechify imports itā€™s text. The extension for this app fixes that. As a Japanese learner. I can seamlessly use my pop up dictionary extension in combination with text to speech. And itā€™s frank the best experience ever.
