This is a must have whether you have one or more students in the school system. We love it.

I helped my brother in law sign my nieces up for school at the same time I signed my kid up for school. Now my daughter is in a different school and this app decided to keep my brother in laws name for my daughter’s school!!! Now I can’t sign forms or do anything because the app won’t let me do ahh!t and called the school and they can’t do anything!
  • Frustrating Scrolling Experience

Using ParentSquare to read posts has been pretty frustrating at times. When I try to scroll through a post, the screen will shift slightly but then snap right back to where it started, making it nearly impossible to move through the content. It’s inconsistent — sometimes it randomly “unlocks” and lets you scroll like normal, but as soon as you stop, it often locks up again. This feels like a major design flaw, especially when you’re just trying to read important information. Really hoping this gets addressed in a future update.

  • Question

It seems to be working fine but my question is why was it defaulted to Spanish language upon registration and using app. I had to figure out how to change to English. For me this doesn’t make any sense.

This app used to be great! …THEN they updated it. I used this app at my place of work and with my child’s school in a different school district. Once the update happened, none of my login info works for my child’s district. Even after changing passwords, etc. When will our society learn, “if it isn’t broken, don’t fix it!!” UPDATE: After my initial review above I received an apology from the developer explaining that improvements were made based upon user feedback. However, now I’ve also realized that it’s much more back-and-forth within the app to check on my two different accounts. Hopefully the developer read this and work on it more to simplify the use.

Why do I have to change my password so often? Lighten up please.

This app used to work great until they unlinked accounts. Now I can’t switch back and forth between my staff account and my parent account. Like everyone else’s review, I am logged into BOTH accounts but it will not let me switch between the two. Anyone who responds to the work ticket or developer response on here just keeps copying and pasting a worthless response that doesn’t fix anything. The copied and pasted robot AI response doesn’t even relate to the problem. They are acting like it’s user error or they’re blaming the schools but the problem is on their end and no one is taking responsibility or fixing the problem. School starts tomorrow and I can’t access what I need to.
  • Clunky 2FA Integration

The app doesn’t utilize built-in iOS autofill features for 2FA such as pulling codes from text messages or auto filling newly generated passwords from either the Passwords app or third party ones. During initial set up, I had to switch to my email app to copy a verification code, switch back to ParentSquare, paste it in, switch to the Messages app to copy a code, switch back to ParentSquare, paste it in, switch back to password manager, generate a password, switch back to ParentSquare, paste it in twice, etc.
