Description

*** Most downloaded Contraction Timer app in the world! Number 1 in the USA, UK, Australia, Canada, Italy and elsewhere! *** This is the simplest-to-use contraction timer. The app will help to track your contractions and determine when it's time to go to the hospital. If you plan on having a home birth, the app will tell you what stage of labor you are in at any given moment. Keep track of your labor by tapping a single button at the start and at the end of each contraction. The Contraction Timer analyzes the duration and frequency of contractions and will notify you when it's time to go to the hospital. Thousands of pregnant women around the world have become mothers using our app. Always consult your doctor to orient yourself in terms of contraction frequency and duration. This app is not a medical device and our recomendations are based on standard indicators. Your labor may occur differently. Therefore, do not rely exclusively on our app. If the duration and frequency of contractions do not yet correspond to the necessary indicators but labor pains become unbearable, it is better to go to the hospital as soon as possible rather than give birth at home or on the way there. Trust what your body is telling you. If you have any questions or suggestions, please email us at neumandev@gmail.com. Your feedback is very important to us.

Bought this while going into labor and it literally did not work. It wasn’t registering contraction duration or frequency correctly using the simple start/stop button. If I wasn’t having my third baby I’m not sure I would have noticed. DO NOT PURCHASE! I want my money back!

Essential feature is missing (see title) and they flood you with ads and disclaimers.

App requires payment to use. Other apps such as BabyCenter do not.

I used this app to time my contractions since my other baby app didnt have that feature and it did what it was supposed to.
  • Ads are obnoxious, not worth using this app for

I want to say that the app works fine, I’ve used it before with my first child for contractions, but the ads are very annoying and make the app more of a hassle than a help. Having to close out the app after marking literally only 4 contractions because an ad for a game I do not intend to play is popping up really feels like a slap in the face. They know people are going to use the contraction app, they know the point of the app is to tap a button on the screen to track your contractions (which is obviously purposely designed to be right above the ads running at the bottom of the screen) and I have accidentally tapped the ad instead of marking a contraction far too often. I understand wanting to make money and even running those ads at the bottom of the screen, but the pop-up ads are very annoying and literally happen every 4 or 5 contractions, I highly doubt they are going to do anything about it because it makes them money. Makes me feel like I was too harsh on Count the Kicks’ contraction timer as they didn’t have any ads but rather some in-app pop-ups. Yes, I can just close the app and reopen it once the ad pops up but I’ve had it to where a couple times now the ad has played its audio despite me having my sound off, which is very obnoxious especially in a public space. Not to mention it deletes the intensity of the last contraction marked, and most people having a contraction are probably in a great deal of discomfort and having to deal with something popping up in your face on the app that is supposed to be helping you can make people feel more fed up with the situation than helped. Honestly I’m just going to use the Count the Kicks app because it has dual-functionality and feels like it’s actually intended to help rather than benefit from knowing so many people use the app. In fact the only reason I really started using this app again is because it runs the contraction in the background which actually can be a problem if you forget it’s running because it will completely destroy your whole session and you’ll have to delete all the contractions you’ve marked if you want it to actually be accurate. It doesn’t even offer a “delete last contraction” option. It’s a very simple app that has far too many ads to accommodate for something other apps do just fine if not better.
