I need to use it for work. I can only run it on one Mac (I need it on 2). It’s very OS9, if that. It could use a modernizing and a loosening up for practical everyday use.

I mean, I've been using WeChat for a decade, but just today I realized this Mac app is 1.3G!!! How on earth is a social media app on Mac, which does nothing more than messaging people and browsing a timeline, should take 1.3G. What weird stuff have they put into this app?

I don’t need to read moments on my Mac WeChat. I don’t need the mini programs. I just need to be able to chat on Mac. Do a version that keeps only the essential features and drop the rest. The space those unnecessary features take up is absurd.
