Basic Feature Missing

Before the latest so-called update, when you clicked on the typing window (empty area), the app would give you some options about typing, most importantly, the spelling check while typing. Now they all GONE !!! How could you not see such missing basic feature, specially while your app can’t be recognized by Grammarly (or similar) to help users correcting their possible dictation errors????

Like many Chinese communication app, this is just a nightmare to use. Maybe they’ll block your account for no reason. Or, you’ll change phones and the app will never work again. Who knows. Just a layer cake of buggery..
No QR code shown up in iMac

WeChat worked before, then after iMac (Intel 2021) OS was upgraded to 15.5, WeChat failed to show QR code to login. Reinstallation does not help in this case. Every time when starting the WeChat, it shows a spinning logo trying to show the login QR code. I double checked that the WeChat has access to Camera/Microphone/Files/Screen&Recording/
World Class App Need Major Support Revamp

Recently, I stumbled across this app as I need to travel to China. To my amazement, there was no effective AI support or human existence on support. WeChat has complete monopoly in China, so I have to use this App as an international person. It would not allow me to change my mobile number, nor it allowed me to sign-in in to a new iPhone. They use so called ‘Protecting your account’ as the excuse to sway from support. I sent my request to their support and only got automated and general response. This is so contrary to what you would heard from the media that China is doing overhang to attract foreigners. Totally shocked about their lack of support. They should revamp their support to model from Apple Support where I could count on them to resolve issues.
