    In an age where phones no longer have FM receivers, alarm clock radios on our nightstands are missing, and an industry that has you convinced you need algorithmically driven “recommendations” spoon fed to you, sometimes there’s nothing better than just scanning through your local radio stations. The music starts, you either like it, or you switch stations. This app scratches my itch for a nostalgic, authentic radio experience that isn’t bloated and is well put together. Amazing for being reminded about bands from your childhood you forgot about, hearing local news, appreciating non profit radio, and pushing you out of your genre comfort zones.

    Great interface, loving this app generally. I especially like the fact that it identifies the song that’s playing and gives you a quick shortcut to save it to your Apple Music library. The one thing I think is lacking is the interface for the CarPlay version of the app. It’s pretty bare bones and I think it could be better.

    I have the version before they upgraded and the older version is just wonderful! It works. Period. No major frills, nothing to distract you from listening to radio, nothing to pop up and mess it all up. Thank you and please do not make things worse.

    There’s is a bug that sometimes if you tune into a specific radio station but it goes into another radio station. I tuned into 104.7 but if i mess with the bar that you change the radio station with, it sometimes takes me to 101.9 or anything else even when it says I’m in 104.7.

  • Random Ads interrupting

    Overall I love the functionality and simplicity of this app. However, when I'm listening to a morning radio show there are often random ads in the middle of the broadcast. I know it's not the radio show because I've listened on other apps without the interruptions.
