The Puzzle of Theseus begins simply. A complete ship puzzle sits before you — every piece in place, the image whole and clear. Study it. Because once you start, the pieces begin to leave. Tap a piece and it transfers to your workspace — a blank canvas where you'll attempt to reconstruct the ship entirely from memory. There are no guides. No ghost image. No outline telling you where anything goes. You place pieces where you believe they belong, connecting them as best you can, trusting what you saw. And you must move every single piece. Not most of them. All of them. Here's where it gets dangerous: the game never tells you which pieces you've already transferred. Move a piece twice and it quietly toggles back — returning to the original ship as if it never left. You won't feel it happen. You won't see a warning. The game simply waits. When you're ready — when you believe you've rebuilt the ship in your workspace without missing a piece, without doubling back — you press Build.
