Description

Tired of tilting your head to view images on Reddit, Twitter, or forums? Ever find a great photo or infographic, only to see it's been uploaded sideways? As a visual-first person, this small frustration constantly broke my browsing flow. PicRotator is the simple web extension I built to solve it once and for all. The Frustration: Why We Need an In-Browser Image Rotator Like many of you, I spend hours browsing online. But the experience was always flawed by three key issues: The "Head-Tilt" Moment: You're scrolling smoothly through your feed, and suddenly a sideways picture stops you in your tracks. You either tilt your head or physically turn your phone, completely breaking your focus. It's a small but constant annoyance. The Clunky Workaround: To fix a picture's orientation, the standard method is a pain: Right-Click -> Save Image As... -> Open in a photo viewer -> Rotate -> View. This is far too much work just to see an image correctly. Viewing Long-Form Content: Sometimes, artists or creators post long comics or tutorials as sideways images to fit social media previews. Trying to read these by clicking and dragging left-to-right is a terrible experience. The Solution: PicRotator - Your Instant "Rotate Image" Button I decided there had to be a better way. I didn't need a heavy image editor; I needed a lightweight, intuitive tool that felt like a native browser feature. And so, PicRotator was born. Its philosophy is simple: Give the user control to rotate any image, instantly. Now, when you encounter any image that needs to be turned, just hover your mouse over it. Two clean buttons will appear, allowing you to rotate it left or right with a single click. The image will flip or turn right on the page. No more saving files. No new tabs. No more broken focus. PicRotator is my solution to this universal digital annoyance. It’s the web extension designed to fix every sideways picture you find online. Install it, and take back your seamless browsing experience. Stop tilting your head and start rotating with a click.
