Payment will be charged to iTunes Account at confirmation of purchase. Subscription automatically renews unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24-hours before the end of the current period.     This App crashes all the time on my Apple TV, also can’t Root find a way to minimize the menu bar automatically so the games are in full screen mode.

    I constantly have issues with this app. I have to restart the app at least 20 times during a mariners game. It freezes, has “double audio”, air play freezes and sometimes doesn’t even load. I can’t watch root sports plus as it says I’m not in the area, even though I’m in Bremerton (across the sound from Seattle). I’ve sent numerous emails to support. They have responded 1 time asking for info like ip address and to send shots of a few things, which I responded with all the info they requested. Now they are ignoring me after several attempts to get this horrible app resolved. Root sports has zero customer service. NOT worth the money, don’t do it.

    This app on my Apple TV is as basic as you can get. Too many clicks to get to full screen. Recently I wanted to rewind after an extra innings win and I could NOT for the life of me figure it out. Absolutely frustrating!!! I went to rewind and it went back to the 8th inning and wouldn’t let me fast forward to the winning hit. I was literally yelling at my TV “ THIS ISNT LIVE! THE GAME IS OVER! ITS NOT THE 8th INNING!!!!!!!! While I like being able to stream Mariners games for $20/month, the app is SOOOOOO infuriating. It’s like a 3rd grader did the coding. 😳🥴😵‍💫🔱

    This app doesn’t work. Wont recognize devices, when it does its pixelated and disconnected for no reason. Complete scam. Root sports is a joke. This app it total garbage.

    I waited months and excited to finally purchase the Roots Sports stream after the trade deadline. Really frustrated by how often this app freezes and glitches during a game. Sometimes I will be watching live and then the game comes back 3 or 4 innings earlier. Really annoying down the stretch.

    I have been using the app since it has been available. Initially, it was okay - poor UI, and you can’t pause or rewind to watch a replay. It mostly worked though. Then I started having to close and reopen the app if it stayed open in the background. Annoying, but not a huge deal. Now it has terrible video quality (even on force 1080p) and exits out of full screen mode when it buffers, generally 3-5 times per baseball game. In the last two days, it has started to freeze then randomly start playing audio from several hours ago while playing the current video. Purely as an app and streaming platform, this app is by far the worst that I have used. I wish there was another alternative at a similar price point to watch the Mariners, but we’re stuck with this barely functioning app.

    I don’t know if Root doesn’t play well with Apple devices but I’m constantly having to reload, restart and pray I’ve not missed something important during the game. If it was once or twice during a game or only on one device it wouldn’t be a big deal. My TV, iPad and iPhone all have issues and friends have reported similar problems. Hope they can up their reliability.
