    This app is a bit creepy, and too “new age” feeling for me. It requires you to provide too much demographic/personally identifiable information, and it’s clear that this is for data collection purposes so that they can sell your information to advertisers. My age, gender, etc. is none of their business, and shouldn’t be required for a scripture reading and “devotional” app; all scripture is profitable for personal study & devotional purposes, regardless of your demographics, so the only real reason that they want this kind of information is to sell it; I can’t recommend this app for anyone

    I absolutely love this app. There are so many wonderful features that allow me to grow my knowledge of and relationship with God. I had no idea what exegesis meant until I went to highlight a verse and saw the menu pop up. Wow!! Being given the historical, cultural, theological and linguistic context allows for an understanding I didn’t have before. I am so impacted by the ability to write Damon what I’m struggling with in the pay feature and have a prayer created just for me and my situation. I made a suggestion on the app and they actually listened. For anyone who is struggling to know and understand the word this app is definitely worth the purchase.

    This app really helps change your way to study! There is so much in the app that helps us not only study the word but go more into the context / meaning and of what you are studying. The new meditation area helps you to kind of sit in relax and have that time to really reflect on what you read or even pray. The devotional is a great way to even start your day. I love having an app to help you study that does not replace the guidance of the Holy Spirit.

    I’ve spent several years using other bible apps, spending hours hunting for plans, only to go through the exercise after a few days or a couple of weeks. I was tired of spending more time searching for a good daily devotional and wanted to spend the time learning more about what God says about me and my family. I cannot remember where/how I came by the Aura app, but it quickly filled the need I had to have something regular, consistent, daily and meaningful, where I could focus on the words of God, and get a good perspective of how those relate to me, today, in my current situation. I’ve found the Aura devotionals to be concise, intellectual, and well written. I’ve shared several excerpts with my kids and wife – it’s great to share biblical perspectives that are worded so well and just relate to our story perfectly. The guided prayer has also been eye opening, as a method of slowing down, taking a breath, and thoughtfully using those words as a template to start a conversation with Him. I still use the other bible apps, for bible reference, at church, etc. We like to listen to the “guided scripture” during our nightly worship as a family, but I’m so thankful to have this as my daily devotional guide.

    I absolutely love this app 🩷 It would be great to be able to select text in the “ask” area. I have been taking screenshots to select text that way. Too tedious when I want to save something specific for further study later when not in the app. Is this something your product team may see enhancing in the near future? 🩷🩷🩷

    The team at Aura has done an exceptional job of creating a Bible study app that truly helps you focus on your spiritual growth, and hopefully as a direct result, your relationship with God. There are multiple modules, like daily devotionals, prayer writer assistant, Bible-centered meditation, and others. And it doesn’t matter your personal phase of Biblical understanding - you can keep it light, or dig down deep with the exegesis feature. Whether you’re looking for a way onto the narrow path or looking to level up your intimacy with God and His Word, I believe this app is an excellent study partner for you. For me, it has been pivotal. May God bless you with abundant love, grace, and understanding.
