Truly disappointing experience despite infinite updates that claim improvements they do not bring. Garbage product from a premium brand. Thousands of dollars and I can’t even get a text from my wife. What are they playing at???

Both the app and watch suffer from serious connectivity issues. It constantly disconnecting from app forcing me to factory reset the watch only to add and reconnect the watch. Watch iOS seems outdated and unreliable which takes away from what should be a premium experience. Overall is an expensive watch for what you get, and I would not recommend it base on the software experience

Constantly loses connectivity to iPhone, inaccurate steps, doesn’t sync when changing time zones (even though iPhone changes).

The E5 isn’t too far away from being a good smart watch. It just needs a more time and effort on the software side of things. My cheap Amazfit watch seems to have more reliable software and connectivity which is disconcerting considering the wild price difference.
  • Latest version is a downgrade

The latest version of the Connected App adds no functionality that I can see and in fact takes some away. The heart rate graph for the day now only shows averages over 1-hour intervals instead of the 15-minute intervals that were previously available. It looks like a bug and the developers meant to track resting heart rate, which you can’t do intra day. Please bring back the old version of the graph even if just for the one-day plot. The 1-hour intervals make the graph pretty useless: it’s just a flat line now. Thank you.

I’ve had the watch for a week. Coming from an E4. First impressions: 1. OS a little buggy: bedtime mode wasn’t working properly (face would freeze time or lick up). 2. NO DIGITAL FACES?!! 3. During periods of inactivity, the app would disconnect from watch. 4. Touch sensitivity for face changes and complications a little slow and buggy. 5. Love the Siri ability. 6. Would love to see ability to tap to pay, respond to text (even if quick phrases) and other apps too. They did put out an update yesterday so let’s see.
  • Pretty good, but…

Version 1.0.3 definitely connects to watch faster now, BUT very slow to update step count from watch. Took almost 1 hour for steps to get synced from watch to connect app/apple heath. Ongoing app issues: (a) Can’t configure complications in the app? You can only set them on the watch itself? Seems like a bug or big oversight. (B) connect app is VERY slow (like several hours) to update current location for the weather complication. I often travel by train, and the location is always stale. Location services only shows “location accessed in last 24 hours”, even re-loading the app should force a location update and “location recently used” (purple arrow) but does not. (C) Live Activity (notifications) from aome apps (ie. Apple Sports app) do not appear on the watch. (D) need ability to do screen captures of the watch screen (every other smart watch/device has this ability)! (E) PLEASE add a confirmation when deleting a face from the watch itself. It’s so touchy swiping thru faces that deleting a face by accident is very easy. Or let me lock faces. (F) I deleted iOS app XYZ from my iPhone, but app XYZ still shows up in the Connected app (and watch) notifications list. That app should automatically deleted from the list. (G) I’m not a runner, let me hide the huge running workout section in the app! Wasted space

Been trying to get the watch connected to my IPhone for two days now and it’s not working at all. Watch won’t allow me to do a factory reset either. Sending back. Big failure!

Connectivity issues have resolved since the update last week. Still buggy, where the faces get randomly changed (color options revert uncontrollably), but I’ve seen a definite improvement since launch.
