    I met someone that I share the same values with and who wants the same things out of life so CMB might be one of the key factors for me meeting my future husband

    As a long-time user of Coffee Meets Bagel (over 6 years), thought I had a couple good dates through this app, I was expecting a much better experience from this app. Recently, my account was unfairly frozen due to what appears to be a false or malicious report. I’ve always been careful while using the app, especially since there has been increasingly more occasional scammers, so this action felt unwarranted. As a result, I had to redo the verification process as instructed, including submitting my driver’s license, again. However, the system failed to confirm my identity this time, and the support team has been unhelpful in explaining the situation, including but not limited to which guideline exactly did I violate. They proved to me that their freezing/banning operations are arbitrary. It’s disappointing to see such a lack of care for its users. CMB needs to seriously improve its customer support and account management processes. This experience has made me lose trust in this platform, and I cannot recommend it to anyone seeking a reliable dating app. There are plenty of other options out there that treat their users better.

    Lots of micro-transactions, but that’s becoming par for course as these types of apps figure out how to deal with declining user bases. The number of pop-ups from them is definitely higher than other dating apps. Beyond that, without mandatory prompts outside of basic info fields, you get plenty of empty profiles on a platform that supposed to be for “serious” dating. Notifications were hit or miss at times regarding likes, matches, and messages but oddly never prompts reminding me to check my new suggestions. My last issue, and the primary reason I’ll not be returning, is a situation I found myself in repeatedly. A person would send me a like, I would like back, I would message them, and they would never respond. Not only would they never respond, they never viewed the message. I have never been on a dating app where someone sends a like and doesn’t respond to at least a message or two, but it happened to me repeatedly on this app. It really makes me wonder if real people sent the likes or platform was just connecting people it thought would chat to keep users active.

    The worst dating site I ever used. Does not follow your filter shows you people the total opposite of what you’re looking for. Swiped left more than I swiped right. Will not be renewing the subscription only paid for the premium subscription.

    CMB canceled the user of a scam account to which I was linked at the cost of 385 beans for a priority like, which is fine, but I had to ask THREE TIMES to have the beans refunded. That's three times too many. It should be automatic. No one, including CMB, should be profiting from the actions of scammers on its site. Thanks for finally refunding my beans, CMB, but your explanation and the policy supporting it is unacceptable to me, and it will absolutely influence my decision not to renew my subscription. CMB is not doing a good job of vetting accounts. I've had at least three scammers match with me in the past couple weeks. To extent you are both selling priority likes and then taking unilateral action against them, it is ABSOLUTELY the moral and responsible thing for you to automatically refund the beans. IN EVERY CASE. OTHERWISE? CMB is complicit with the scammers, who offer up false, attractive profiles, and CMB is profiting from their misdeeds. Is that who you want to be? If so, I distrust CMB, its site and its policies I urge you all to clean your act already!

    A few years ago, this app was actually useful and you could even see who liked you. Now, it has gotten way too premium, and the developers have gotten completely greedy. I haven’t been able to match with anybody in several months and not being able to see who likes me, when that rarely happens, is insult to injury. I’m gone elsewhere; this app was nice while it lasted!

    I’ve been using the app for almost two weeks and have received 11 likes, but only a few have appeared in my daily batch. I’ve sent over 30 likes, but I still haven’t had a single match. I’m realistic with my preferences and not aiming for anyone out of my league, yet the results have been disappointing. Overall it’s been a frustrating experience, and I feel like my time would be better spent on other dating apps.
