  • Only 1 issue

Worth every penny. I use it all the time for entertainment and editing. The only issue is the use of nanny bots that threaten your account for suspicion due to falsely flagged content. It’s a shame a human doesn’t check first before something like this happens. I got through the appeal process but if I hadn’t I have no idea what getting a refund would have been like. I would suggest never purchasing an annual subscription until the way they handle suspensions is changed.

There are occasional random gibberish and line repeats. Can you fix the queue function on the app. It isn’t fluid to use and can play items out of order. Perhaps make it similar to YouTube where we can preview the audio without it deleting itself from the queue.
  • To Me — A Very Good Reader!

I have had the ElevenReader app for a relatively short time, but I’ve used it quite a bit so far. I appreciate that it’s pretty user-friendly. I also like the options that a person can choose. For instance there’s a nice selection of voices to choose from. Even with that you can adjust the speed of the reader, faster or slower, to suit your own listening style. Additionally, I have used it to listen to articles about the Bible. It has been very rare to find a reader that will correctly read where some verses are drawn from. For example if referring to a verse such as Psalm 83:18 most readers I’ve used usually handle that without any issues. But if citing a verse such as 2 Chronicles 6:8, invariably all the others I’ve used will read that as “two Chronicles 6:8” instead of the correct rendering “second Chronicles 6:8.” I really appreciate this. It prevents my brain from doing a slight double-take each and every time the leading number is handled as a cardinal number instead of what it should be, an ordinal number. The correct rendering helps me focus on the information and not on narration mistakes. For me this is much appreciated. Thank you!

They supposedly changed their payment plans and all, but it’s still subscription based. So you’ll never own any portion. I’m not using this just to keep paying forever. Let us buy unlimited use of a voice, and unlimited listening of an item. The end.
  • Literally unusable

The idea of this app is brilliant. I’m a would be power user. But it is so buggy that it is not usable. Copying text always carries over weird formatting issues. The voices randomly spas out. And so much more. Maybe they should hire real engineers instead of vibe coding.
  • Last few days getting crazy glitches

I like this app a lot and listen to my books through the day. I’ve noticed the voice as it reads getting lower and lower as if I turned the volume down, then booms back up with no transition. But what’s really driving me crazy is the ai voice getting stuck on 2/3 words and will repeat it over and over without going to the next sentence. Also if I have it playing in the background it will read but as soon as I get on my phone again it doesn’t save the place where it was last read. Hopefully an update can fix this.
