Glitchy app with old dieting concepts rehashed, with gimmicky take a picture of your food and we’ll advise you to lose weight. Save your money and ditch advice from traditional doctors trying to be relevant by making an app like this.
  • Cost

You can’t find out how much this cost without first going through many screens and giving them personal information. Also, when you get through all of that, they advertise a “monthly” cost, but it’s not really a monthly cost. You pay in advance for a whole year, so it’s really a yearly cost. It seems to me to be a bit unfair to call it a monthly cost.

Maybe for packaged foods, but the photos simply don’t match what’s on my homemade plate.
  • Often incorrect

Disappointed with this app, it often makes mistakes but doesn't offer an interface to “teach” the incorrect assignments. Really wish I hadn't subscribed, it's more frustrating than it is accurate.

I have used the app for the 7 day trial. The picture option is awesome when it works. It is not perfect. The quantity options are atrocious and need to be reworked. I had to play around with it and basically fudge the quantities to get an estimated calorie count for what it was. Ex: I put in a food and box pops up with a random number, and another box with a number plus g, oz, etc. So, Radishes: 436, 67g and it calculates 1780 calories. What??? So you can choose 1oz, 17g, or a serving of 56g. What?? Where are these numbers coming from? Also, I have a family to feed. I am not going to only choose the meal options they have listed. I need a way to put in my own recipes so that I don’t have to put in every ingredient in a recipe every time and quantities. Like spaghetti, not all are created equal. I need to put it all in once, all ingredients for the whole that I cooked for the family then be able to choose the quantity I ate. I found that I was guesstimating a lot of everything and so not much of anything was very accurate. If I was just eating strawberries or yogurt or chick fil a it was great. But I don’t usually only eat single items. It was taking 10 minutes to put in a salad. Also, if this is about staying satiated, fat is supposed to keep you satisfied longer. Why are the fatty foods like Caesar dressing and cream cheese calculated as 10? They should be higher. $99 a year is incredibly high for these issues for me. I can use paper and pencil, thank you.

  • A real disappointment

I purchased a year long subscription and regret it every time I use this app. Food measurements frequently don’t match the label per serving measurements of products. For example a product may show as tablespoons but tablespoons is not an option when adding the food. AI suggestions are narrow and repetitious - there have to be more suggestions beyond add chickpeas which comes up over and over. At one point I dug deep with the AI engine and asked it to create high score meal - at least 75 to 85 SPC. I made the meal, including chickpeas, exactly as it said and entered it as a food eaten. The result was a score that was in the low 40s. What?!! I won’t go so far as to say it is useless but I will say it doesn’t do anything that ChatGPT can’t do for you for free with less stress associated with chasing an SPC score that is almost impossible to achieve. An SPC of 75 or higher is incredibly difficult to achieve unless you are disciplined beyond average. The daily tally suggestions don’t help because it just repeats itself. I answered their survey and offered to give feedback. No response. I submitted an online request for a refund. No response. Please save your money and look to other options for this kind of app. (I never give reviews but if this can save someone money and heartache it is worth speaking up for a change.)

This app will not go past the goal weight screen to allow me to even start using the app.
  • Ai rarely works

If you’re buying this app for the ai feature I’m here to say it rarely works. I’m constantly getting error messages and when it does work it’s about 50% wrong. Adding food that’s not on my plate, and missing food that it. So disappointed. It’s expensive for a tracking app that doesn’t work.
  • Record Recipes?

I would love this app if there was a way to include my own recipes.
