Description

Tapestry weaves your favorite blogs, social media, and more into a unified and chronological timeline. ⁕ The Web Your Way Tapestry combines posts from your favorite social media services like Bluesky, Mastodon, Tumblr along with others like RSS feeds, podcasts, YouTube channels, and more. All of your content is presented in chronological order, with no algorithm deciding what you should or shouldn't see. ⁕ A Bird's Eye View Tapestry makes it easier than ever to browse content from dozens or even hundreds of sources. Create custom timelines, seamlessly sync your reading position across devices, and keep track of feeds in an easy-to-read, color-coded stream of content. ⁕ Avoid Spoilers. Everywhere. Quickly create powerful rules that control what you do and don't see across all your feeds. Avoid potential spoilers and stay clear of unwanted topics by creating rules that muffle and mute items in everything you follow. ⁕ Powerful Searching Search for topics and terms across all feeds simultaneously. Tapestry makes it easy to find that blog post, YouTube video, or podcast you're looking for - and easy to mark it for later. ⁕ Private By Design Your privacy is a priority. Tapestry works with content stored on your device, so searching and viewing content is completely private. We never sell or share your data with third parties. ⁕ Custom Connectors Expand Tapestry’s potential with third-party connectors. Import custom connectors from trusted developers, or even write your own to add your favorite bit of data to the timeline. If there's an open data feed available, a connector can weave it into Tapestry. Additional Features: • Universal app for iOS and iPadOS • Quickly open posts in your favorite third party apps to take action • Syncs your reading position via iCloud across devices • Fully accessible using VoiceOver, Dynamic Type, and more • Customize Tapestry's app icon, layout, and fonts • Create custom timelines of your favorite feeds • Mark your favorite items to read later • Light and dark mode support -------- Tapestry uses auto-renewing subscriptions. The subscription provides access to premium features like ad removal, custom timelines, feed customization, and more. The subscription will be charged to your iTunes account at confirmation of purchase. Subscriptions will automatically renew at the end of your subscription period and will be charged through your iTunes account. • Love this app

I love this way to consume my RSS and social media feeds. I can categorize them if I want, and if I miss something, I can either dive into the individual feed or just let it go. I’ll never get around to reading everything. All tied up with The Iconfactory’s beautiful, whimsical finish. This app is a joy to use.

A unified client for all your feeds is a great idea but lack of “mark read” feature and thumbnails makes it very unrealistic to use this. I thought it would be convenient to replace Feedly, an activitypub app, and my podcast app with Tapestry but no way to remove consumed content makes it impossible to navigate.

This is a near perfect app for someone who used to use Twitter back when you could keep everything in sequential order and the only feeds on your timeline were the ones that you specifically followed- now you can load blog RSS’s, blue sky, mastodon feeds, substack links, etc; and get to see them all in order right where you left off browsing only when the people you care about post. It’s wonderful.

Truly amazing app, works great. Can we have an option half way in between expanded and collapsed though? Please 🙏

Tapestry is a rare app that understands the modern digital mess and dares to tame it. My favorite feature? Its ability to consolidate multiple social and news feeds into one clean, unified timeline. Instead of bouncing between four or five apps, I now get everything I care about in one elegantly designed space. It’s smart, efficient, and beautifully executed. I can’t wait to see how it evolves—this is the kind of thoughtful development the Iconfactory is known for. Thanks!!
  • Subscription for features offered free elsewhere

I enjoy the app and it's my favorite way to ingest news and updates. However, it's subscription model is a bit arbitrary, especially for something that's ultimately straightforward. Flipboard's Surf app is essentially the same but allows users to customize exclusions and multiple feeds for free, rather than hitting a recurring paywall for them

The last few updates to this app have made it my daily driver for Bluesky, Mastodon, and RSS. LOVE IT!

The free version has more features than most apps have in their paid version. It’s visually clean and beautiful. I have four feeds and Tapestry clearly delineates them so I never wonder what’s what. The refinements and options keep pouring in with frequent updates. So much good stuff!

I’m a huge fan of the universal timeline. It’s a wonderful evolution on media consumption. The absolute best feature of it though is its Muffle/Mutes feature and that they’re global across RSS feeds and social media posts is amazing.

Tapestry is one of those apps that make one wonder why one waited so long to use them. It might be a little intimidating, setting it up and moving everything over, but stick with it. It’s so flexible, and so much attention has been paid to every detail; in very little time, you’ll make it yours and wonder how you got on without it. It’s also kind of amazing to start using an app when it’s still pretty new: every update delivers the delight of unwrapping a lovely gift. The team developing Tapestry welcome feedback and are wonderfully responsive across avenues of communication. I find Tapestry a real joy; I look forward to using it every day, and contributing to its evolution.
