    I love listening to audiobooks but wouldn’t it be great if I can highlight/save audio clips (within the audiobook) that resonate with me as a reader. That way just like you can go back into a book and look at what you highlighted. You could also go back into a audiobook and listen to at what you highlighted.

  • Trial that doesn’t let you try anything

    Signed up for the 3-day trial that isn’t even 3 days - signed up on Jan 31 and it says I will be charged Feb 2. That’s 2 days not 3. A little deceptive right off the bat. The trial is effectively useless as they don’t give you a book credit or even let you sample an audiobook. I have no idea what the user experience is like while listening to an audiobook on this application, and I’m not spending a dime until. I’m not sure what the point of the trial even is other than a trick to charge subscription fees.

    App is glitchy and would never let me use my credits, always required to pay full price For the books despite having credits.

    Upon doing the free trial I am told I was given one free credit for the trial. Yet I was not given any.

    First thing to note, it’s well over $100 for a yearly membership. Second, and most frustrating, the voices are limited in terms of how long you can use them despite having a membership. Lastly, use them or lose them because once your subscription is over, you can’t use the credits STILL in your account despite paying something like $150 (this was last year so I can’t remember). If I wanted to be robbed, I’d leave my doors unlocked, but I don’t, so shame on this company for their greed and deceit.

    I’ve been wanting the sorcerer Stone so I can read it for school I already read three chapters and I wish I could have an audiobook to me it for me but it doesn’t have the books I want which can be really upsetting because it takes a while for them to add the books.

  • Good App, Lousy Devs

    The app seems really great and does what it’s supposed to. Supposedly, they’re open to indie authors and I was in talks with them early on to release my books, but at one point they completely ghosted me. I had signed paperwork and never heard anything after that.

    In the middle of using the application, it pops up nag screen to review. I hate that interruption so much. Here is your review. Remove the nag screen and I will update my review.

  • I can’t cancel the subscription

    They supposedly tell you that you can cancel the subscription if you are not satisfied and it turns out that now I can't cancel it, they send the correct steps to do it😡

  • Won’t open

    I have used speechify before so I wanted to check out the new app. After I downloaded it though it won’t load. I tap to open it and I see the loading circle go around a couple time and it just disappears like I never tried to open it. It doesn’t even show up in my open app thingy
