    Hey guys, thanks for the bug fix. Now I have two great Filmic versions!! The 6 and the 7 !! Shower, I noticed the 6 version still has a minor issue with smooth automatic zooming in/out while recording. But it is better. Maybe you can try to smooth it some more on another update. Great products guys!!

    I used to love Filmic Pro, especially when it was a one-time purchase. It was a fantastic tool for filmmakers, but their switch to a subscription model is a real letdown. Instead of paying once and owning the app, now you have to pay monthly or yearly, which just doesn’t feel worth it. Many professionals are moving over to Cinema P3, which offers a one-time purchase for about $8 and delivers a really professional experience without the ongoing cost. Overall, pretty disappointing move from Filmic Pro.

    SCAM company alert. Do not trust these thieves for you will pay full price for a very expensive app and then they will steal your money and change the pricing model so you have to down load a downgraded messy awful app or pay again and again week after week for their stupid subscription. What an awful company.

    Let’s get one thing straight: pricing isn’t a review topic. If you can operate a smartphone, you can read a price tag. Reviews are for what an app does, not for venting about the fact that life costs money. And yes, if a new version comes out and they ask for payment again—guess what? That’s normal. As long as the version you already own still gets fixes (which it does), there’s zero foul. So, please—for the love of common sense and digital dignity—stop whining. The world is bursting at the seams with entitled crybabies. Enough already. Filmic is still a fantastic app, even as a legacy version. Use it. Enjoy it. Or move along.

    I’d love to thank the developers for joining Bending Spoons in ripping off customers. It first started with Splice and has now gone on to filmic, and you have every reason to be sickened by the business practices of this company. Apps that were a one time fee, then another in app purchase, and then another in app purchase-we’re fine because you owned the app and you could do whatever you wanted with it. Now, an ungodly overpriced weekly purchase, because spending $40 on an app is obviously not enough money for these greedy developers. If you are someone who spent a lot of money on an app (back when apps were not a lot of money), then you basically get kicked out of the app you spent a lot of money on and are told that you are getting “discount“ by paying weekly -then you have every reason to be offended and appalled by the business practices of this company. There was a time that this app was the crème de la crop of iOS video apps, but that ship has sailed, and there are actually better apps than this that are affordable and don’t change their prices or make you pay a subscription fee after you own the app. It would be one thing if I didn't own the app and I was a new customer -then I could understand -but when I have spent a good chunk of money on an app over the years only to be told that I can only use the app if I pay a "discounted" weekly subscription fee. I am truly offended and mortified that Apple would allow such shady business practices to happen in their App Store. I own six iPhones, five iPads, and I have been beta testing apps for over 13 years and I own over 300 paid apps-I can tell you that this app is now a huge disappointment and I will take the $40 loss and delete every app they made (that I paid good money for) just so I don't give them another penny. Super offended and appalled by there a horrible and backhanded business practices. If it was a three dollar app I could understand, but this app was one of the most expensive iOS apps early on in the App Store and to think that they would do this to their customers is deplorable.

    I downloaded v6 just before COVID hit, and lost my phone ID in the years following - recently, CS worked with me for a week or two to try to find the records of my old purchase, then staked me with a good-faith download of Legacy, to assist my company. It was essential then, is doubly so now. TRUST FILMIC PRO - they're good people, with good products.
