    You can’t play this game well if you don’t spend money, and unfortunately, the developers of this game are flagrantly disrespectful of the players and are dishonest when their updates don’t function and the game doesn’t work correctly. Stay away from Electronic Arts, the company that bought this app. Electronic Arts has ruined the game and expects users to wait more than a week to resolve an issue, then does not adequately remedy the problem they caused.

    Really disappointed with the covet basics. It’s all so boring and I miss the actual designer items. I’ve been playing on and off since 2014 and consistently since 2020, and I am really considering deleting the app at this point.

  • COVET has made a terrible mistake

    I have been playing since 2019 and this game has become part of my daily life. I started playing primarily because the game used real life clothing from real designers and being able to see what the designers were putting out into the world each season was so much fun! Unfortunately, the game was purchased by EA a few years ago and the changes that have happened have gotten progressively worse until I think they made a fatal mistake last week by no longer partnering with designer brands. The clothes that are available for in-app purchase now are just game generated and I’ve felt like I’ve just been playing electronic paper dolls for the past week. There’s nothing to look forward to anymore. I will probably just spend the in-game money I’ve accumulated until I run out and then stop playing. This is such a bummer! I’ve played the game for so long that I’m on the top level. The only reason I gave the game 2 stars instead of one is because it used to be fun.

    This game use to be incredible. I’m a long time player of 9 years and as of recently Covet has eliminated all designers, switching from beautiful real life designs to cheap looking AI generated clothing. They are making it increasingly more expensive to play the game. Worst of all Covet refuses to communicate about the recent changes to the game even though they have a very committed community, some of which have been playing for 10 years. They don’t care about the players, all they care about is revenue. So sad to see this wonderful game turn to garbage.💔

  • Disappointed with new updates

    I have been playing covet for almost a decade. Only now am I considering leaving for good. Covet used to be about styling with real world brands. Now covet is bringing in “covet basics” and seemingly cutting out real world brands. What happened? That was the beauty of the game. A lot of the newest designs feel like AI generated clothes that lack the character the game once had. Covet should really rethink this decision or many players like me will end up leaving.

    Used to be fun and now it’s so expensive, horrible prizes, and now they’re not even using real brands they want you to buy the “covet brand” so lame. Sadly I do not recommend this game anymore.

    I’ve been playing for several years, but EA decided to end contracts with all actual designers and do a bunch of AI designs of their own, inspired by the designers they just fired. Corrupt to the core. I’m so disappointed.

    I started playing covey fashion since 2013, on and off. The first years were great because items were affordable. And you could play most challenges. Then every year the item prices have become ridiculously expensive, it’s hard for me to enter more than 5/20 challenges. They also give tou free money/diamonds to encourage overspending, so you get to a point where you use your real money to buy items which they end up secretly removing from your account every now and then- I guess when they do an update. I have noticed a lot of my items disappear, and get resold by the brand in a new season! Example, I had these orange floral gloves, which disappeared after the recent update and I noticed they were being resold! That should be illegal to do that!

    Joined this game in 2017! I have really enjoyed this game until now. They have made changes that limit your garment choices and they set challenges that are almost impossible to complete without purchasing a garment package for $$$. The fun and creativity is gone from the game.

    I’ve been playing this game since around 2016, as of this year 2025 I’ve seen more AI generated images of models rather than ACTUAL human beings modeling on the challenge covers. Contracts with designers are being terminated left and right and the clothing seems to also be AI generated and also very expensive. People are upset due to the game’s drastic changes, please do better and listen to your players. If not you’ll lose lots of revenue and respect as a company.
