    the old version of the app was better, this new version has so many updates it’s so annoying to keep updating this app almost every other month.

    If your going to have a amusement park app, you must!!!! have estimated wait times in minutes. I have yet to find that feature.

    Doesn’t even list one of their main bands I was looking for in the “Entertainment/Shows” schedule. Discovered there was a separate schedule posted elsewhere, so why not on the app? It’s only partially helpful.
  • Wont open properly

    Ever since Scary Farm, all it does is show a picture of a flashlight and gives the spin of death forever loading. In order to make purchases online (saving yourself $10 per whatever pass you are buying) even with their fees), you’ll have to use their website. Hopefully it’s better than the app. I got stuck having to make my 2025!pass and drink pass in person and it cost an extra $20.

    I attended this park along with 3 others on November 1st 2024 for Knotts Scary Farm. Our experience was absolutely awful. The app is the #1 thing I could blame for the experience, but there were many other factors that played into it. One being, the inconsistent wait times. The app said Ghostrider was 90 minutes when I stepped in the line at 8:11pm and my party and I waited 3 hours and 6 minutes. That nearly wasted our entire time but because we were convinced by an app and relying on bad reception throughout the park, we chose to stay in line alongside asking a nice employee how much longer it would be when we reached a certain point which she herself told us double the time we were advertised. This set a horrible tone for the rest of the time we had considering we only had 4 hours left to figure out how to squeeze in all the mazes and as many rides as we could pass by. None of us were expecting to wait so long. As a customer whos been to Knotts Scary Farm 2 times before, this was by far the most unorganized and chaotic time Ive ever been. I completely understand we are at free will to stand in line or leave, but my main issue was relying on your app to help navigate my entire trip and time spent in the park. Every time I tried to refresh on wait times, only 1-2 things would refresh and the rest remained the same leading me to believe its still a 90 minute wait from the entrance to end. I feel like this inconsistency ruined our trip and made us all frustrated by how long the duration of the wait times were. We were very hungry, thirsty and didnt want to cause any frustration to anyone in line as well by leaving and walking back to go get water or food, at this point it was too late to turn back now considering the 2 hours we already waited. From what I remember the experience being, we were supposed to have a fun, scary, laughable, thrilling time. Instead we experienced frustration, inconvenience, hunger, dehydration, and confusion. Something I wouldnt recommend to a friend or family member inquiring about the special event. I feel I speak for many by saying this felt like a waste of not only time, but money. If you were to ask me what the scariest part of this experience was, it would be waiting in line.

    Not sure how the theme parks, who makes so much money, can turn out apps that are so bad! Wait times are horribly wrong. And they only Work once you’re inside the park so you can’t plan your visit ahead. It’s hard to find where you want to go, and it doesn’t stay latched on that particular preference. Overall, just like all the other reviews an app that could benefit from almost 100% improvement. Should be easy, cedar fair, if anybody reads this. But I know no one at Cedar fair actually cares at all.

    I can’t even create an account. It keeps saying that I’m under the age of 13 and I’m using the Japanese conversion since it’s asking for the year I was born in Japanese. It’s so messed up and buggy.
  • Inaccurate wait times, navigation worse than before

    As title says, wait times aren't accurate. In line at Hangtime - app says 15 min, yet we are behind tons of people - probably 150 at least. Much worse than before to find any info about park or shows

    If I’m at home (away from the park) my passes show and the intranet within the app works fine. Once you get to the park, it’s a totally different experience! The app shows I have NO passes, the wait times are NO WHERE NEAR the actual wait time (app shows <15 mins and the actually wait was 45) and so on and so forth. I just save my passes into my phone’s digital wallet to save face when trying to access my passes within the app. It was so embarrassing when my passes didn’t show on the app. I love Knotts but the app definitely needs a much needed update to use at the park. Once it’s updated, I’ll def update my review 10/13/24
