  • No linking of navigation apps‽

What good is a trip planner if you can't use it easily during a trip to port locations you planned to a navigation app? Tripomatic is great at planning but shockingly bad at the one thing you actually need on the road: getting the plan into a real navigation app. And to think I spent money on this hot garbage!
  • Useful, but the descriptions are hard to read

I have used this app on many trips but the description of the sights is in a thin font in light grey color on a white background, making it very difficult to read. The font color and size are not changed by the iOS accessibility setting so you can’t even change the font size, color or weight. I have reported this issue several times to the developer but they have decided to keep it as is. It’s still overall useful but this accessibility/readability issue makes it a struggle to use at times.
  • could be great but...

    1) the app starts with finding and displaying your current location.. TOTAL WASTE OF TIME if you are using the app for planning. HUGE oversight and delay. 2) using the calendar for future trip planning is a joke... try to plan for next year.... scroll scroll... TOTAL WASTE OF TIME. Due to the above I avoid the app for any planning which is really sad. The developers must not be experienced travelers that plan for travel in advance in foreign countries. If they were, they would immediately fix it. start with when, then were.. forget about current location until the customer needs you to know it. I do not plan on renewing my subscription

This app is wonderful. I just wish it could be used without needing Wi-Fi. In Europe it is expensive.
  • Liked it better when it was Sygic travel

I used this app to plan my trips and list day to day sightseeing. I use to be able to add a new place to sightsee to the phone app. But now it comes up with templates and I can't figure out how to get them gone and add my birding sights. I have to go to the web version to get my new place added. Please fix this!

Downloading the maps take more power than I feel it should take when getting into the app the map takes forever to come up
  • Not good for me

I’m in Spain. The map does not have much data. I downloaded the maps for the cities I am visiting, but most restaurants are not on the map. When I use it to navigate off line, it draws a straight line from point A to point B as if I’m a bird flying instead of walking on the streets. I don’t get it.
  • “Premium” doesn’t work

I bought Sygic Travel and paid the additional $29.99 to get Premium. I am unable to mark 2 locations in Edinburgh so that I can see clearly how to get from my hotel to the location where a tour I am taking originated. So I logged into my account online and all that comes up on the screen is a page called “Account overview” . It tells me that I have no active subscriptions even though I purchased Sygic Travel Premium. There is a help page on the website which tells me that with Sygic Travel Premium, using the mobile app on my phone I can unlock full place details, get walking directions and access itineraries, maps and guides offline. I have none of that functionality with the mobile app. They have online chat so I explained my problem and received a reply in chat that I would receive a response in five business days. Appalling service. This is a bait-and-switch app and I will never recommend this app to anyone who
  • Horrible route planning and other issues

I’m not going to write a long review or list pros and cons, just some things I don’t like about the app. 1) Route planning is god awful with no convenient ways to alter them. The route it chose for me to a particular destination was nearly 11 hours vs the 7 hours Sygic and Google routed. You do get transferred to the actual Sygic navigation app for GPS navigation but again that is inconvenient. 2) Even if it was just a summary I’d like to see my whole trips itinerary instead of just being able to see a single day. 3) I was going to send this note as feedback to them but their feedback email doesn’t allow you to actually SEND the email. 4) Finally, there have been no updates for over a year, which implies they don’t really care too much about it. Maybe I don’t understand the app well enough but it’s looking like it was a waste of money.
  • Works without cell signal!

In 2016 we were traveling through California’s vast Anza Borrego dessert and lost cell signals. Scary! We found our way out and I looked for an app that would serve as an offline GPS, rather than adding a cumbersome Garmin device. After installing Sygic I literally could navigate anywhere without the need for a cell signal (other than initially downloading maps). That was the start of my appreciation of the extraordinary value and features of Sygic! It continues to get better with more features since 2016. We travel about half the year throughout the country in our Class B RV (Ford Transit camper van). Apple Car Play supports both Apple and Google maps, but Sygic through Car Play is our go-to navigation. We depend on it and the features other navigation does not offer that are too extensive to list here.
