    Offers should be binding like on all other platforms! The amount of spam offers I get (with no reply or commitment) is unreal! This isn’t Facebook marketplace lol. If someone sends you an offer, and you accept it, then it should count as a sale. This keeps people from spam offering just because they can without the intention of not buying your items. This is the only issue I have run into on this platform time and time again. Thank you, I mean this with all respect. The app itself is great but please for the sake of sellers sanity can you please address and change this issue? I know I’m not the only one in this position or with this opinion. Thanks!!💞

    Who at Depop thought it was a good idea to show SOLD ITEMS ON THE DISCOVER PAGE? No, I do not want to waste my time clicking on cool items that ARE NOT AVAILABLE. Also take away the new update that no longer lets sellers send individual offers. This platform I loved is now garbage. AI models and depictions of seller’s items are running rampant on this app now. AI creates an unrealistic fit changing the length and measurements of the garment to make the item appear more flattering than it is on a fake human and even adds buttons and pockets that don’t exist in the real photos of the item. They need to ban use of AI as it is used to trick customers into seeing a much more flattering depiction of an item. Blocking sellers who use AI models doesn’t work and they will still show up. If they keep allowing this; Depop will be unusable and unshoppable.

    I’ve been using this app for years. Ultimately and usually, it is good. Except for the few times when sellers are dishonest and fraudulent. Depop claims to have “buyer protection” for such cases but apparently that’s only one time. I once bought an item for $70 that was a scam, never delivered and the seller’s account disappeared immediately after. Depop covered me, but warned me that if I ever encounter another scam in the future they would NOT refund me my money. Yesterday I received a sweatshirt that I bought that was damaged, but not disclosed as such in pictures or listing description. I opened a case with depop and now I’m out $20 because I have to cover the cost of shipping of the item back to the seller. The seller is probably going to just re-list it as is anyway because there really is no penalty. This app needs more advocacy for its users/buyers.

    Love using the app but wish it showed you how much you pay total + the shipping because it doesn’t. There have been a number of times when I’ve gotten a offer from the seller and excepted it because it just said the price but at checkout it adds the shipping and tax, I would like to see the total price of it all before checkout. But over all that’s my only complaint really.

    Forces you to use ai description generator. The descriptions are useless and the ai makes the app sooooo slow. It takes forever to try to generate the caption and won’t let you post until it’s done.

    This site has gone downhill majorly since I started using it 8 yrs ago. Whatever new mailing system they have, does not work. Now, whenever I sell an item, I’m immediately harassed every day multiple times a day tht they will “cancel” my sale & refund the buyer unless I ship.. literally for a whole week after I’ve already shipped the items. This has happened like 15x now. It’s gotten so bad, that they even refunded the buyers & took my $ for my sales PLUS the items I mailed.. so I lost out on every angle. When I reported this, I provided proof of pictures w dates on them of my packages wrapped w labels on them as I was shipping them, 10 days prior, & usps receipts .. and they ignored all my proof and just said “next time just ship on time.” When I literally did & tht was the whole point of the report. There is a huge disconnect between their partnership w usps, their updates, and they end up taking it out on sellers in the end & it ends up being our fault. I’m about to delete my entire shop today, it’s just not worth it in any sense.
