    No. Couldn’t get past two setup screens without a resilient popup ad (can’t close it, have to close app). It’s probably a good app when it’s paid for but just No on principle.

    I hate to give low rating to an Islamic app, but I sent the author countless messages complaining and it keeps getting worse. I hope they do something about it and then I’ll come back here and change the review. Author keeps adding unnecessary and fluff bells and whistles at the expense of the stability and responsiveness of the app core functionality, which is prayer times. I just need to get next prayer timing, and the app freezes for 10 seconds. I could’ve just Googled it and got the response faster.

    Quran section can be a little better. I want to be able to click on an Arabic word and read what it means individually. This will help me learn Arabic and understand the Quran even better inshaAllah!

  • App is way too laggy when I try to open it

    I use an iPhone 16 on the latest iOS. Everytime I open the app, I’m met with a picture of the logo and nothing else happens until I close out of it completely then reopen it, and even then, once I click anything at all it freezes for like 30 seconds. Today when I tried to open it, it was so laggy that whenever I tried closing out of it through tabs, nothing was moving, nothing could get closed out, and I had to force restart my phone. Please fix this.

    The app constantly freezes on start up if you try to click anything. Seems like you have to wait for the ads to load completely before touching your screen otherwise it freezes. The ads sometimes take upwards of 20 seconds to load which makes things frustrating when it’s a consistent thing. We haven’t even mentioned the video ad that take over your screen every so often. It almost makes the app unusable, trying to force you into paying for the subscription. I get that they need to make money but I feel like there has to be a better option than making users frustrated. It was not like this years back (it used to be the best athan app out there). Now I’ve switched over to another app because this is just ridiculous.

    Please fix the freezing, extreme slowness, and glitches that occur when the app first opens; it used to run quickly a year or two ago.
