    As a USA-based consumer, eh at’s most perturbing in using Alibaba is that many sellers on Alibaba initially present photos of one item but they are selling a different item. Perhaps it’s Chinese selling culture to do this, but this practice is the worst thing a seller can do. In the USA, consumers refer to this as “bait and switch”. That means, present one thing but try to trick the customer into buying something else. The key to smooth transactions is to avoid the appearance of bait and switch as it will cause questions in the seller’s credibility and that will equal missed seller opportunities. One more thing. Alibaba should consider opening warehouses in USA and other markets. Direct single item ordering from Chinese equals waste and inefficiency. Instead, Alibaba should open warehouses in the USA and do exactly what Amazon is doing. Alibaba could triple or quadruple profit margins. I have a background in developing efficiencies. Hopefully, this gets shared with Mr. Ha. William

    I have worked with manufacturers through alibaba and have had good experiences so far. I’ve had issues with backend payment problems with alibaba and their customer service is almost non existent. I’ve 2 cases opened with them via email and they haven’t responded in 2 weeks. I’d give more stars if their customer service was good.
