Moved from Prompt to WebSSH. I don’t use as much as I did with Prompt so could not justify cost. Using WebSSH I am not missing any tools in fact it has done more than the older version of Prompt I was using. Thanks for a great tool.

WebSSH is a great tool for accessing servers from my iPhone, MacBook, and iPad, with seamless syncing across all devices. However, I wish there were an easy way to export and import servers using a CSV file. Adding multiple servers can feel cumbersome, and the interface seems more optimized for iPad use, even when I'm on my MacBook. Overall, I'm glad I made the purchase.

Right out of the App Store, I plugged in my username, hostname, password, then let WebSSH create my SSH Key with the server, and voilà. Brain dead easy. I wanted to upload local files, directories so I tried dragging and dropping. BINGO! Wow, they thought of everything. Then I wanted to edit a .htaccess file, so I clicked on it, it opened in a sweet notepad-like editor, clicked on the check-mark to save, again a Eureka!! This app is the best thing since *NIX operating systems. Fantastic SSH/SFTP/Telnet app for the Mac. I’m using this on a MacBook Pro running the latest MacOS, 96GB RAM, 8TB SSD, and 1gbps Internet connection.

I recently migrated over from the Wintel platform and was looking for a good ssh client, that was similar to what I was familiar with. When I found this one, it did everything my old software did and a little more. I’m extremely pleased!

This tool is an amazing tool to have for any sysadmin! With the free option you still have a ton of functionality to do whatever! One of the few tools I have actually purchased just to support the development.

You can make it paid directly in Apple Store not deceiving user into thinking it’s free to use and them surprise them.
