Because when I trued to sign in it won’t let me so I don’t like twich I hate it😡😡

So miserable to use on a tv, extremely laggy and you have to restart it every stream you want to watch. I like to watch vods to sleep and when you press that “rewatch” button it won’t even start you from the beginning. I have to BATTLE my controls when using the app, and god forbid you accidentally touch your controller while trying to watch something, because it will immediately send you way out of the place your watching form, every control is extremely sensitive except for scrolling through the stream trying to find where you last left off? There’s no option to simply rewind a few seconds on a vod if you missed something, easy to use on a phone or computer but miserable if you just want watch on a bigger screen.

Y’all won’t let me get my drops. 1 star cause this is ridiculous.

This company literally promotes terrorist propaganda and blatant antisemitism. I can’t support them any longer.

It will not let me have video and audio at the same time. When I try to have both, the stream pauses and will not play again.

I only use the app when the streamers I follow are live. Otherwise I watch all their VODs elsewhere because the app refuses to remember where I stopped watching and just randomly pauses for no reason as I’m watching the vod

In the 10 years since owning this app, it seems to have only gone downhill. You can no longer move the chat from side to side (something you could do 9 years ago), so if someone’s cam/something important is on the right side: oh well, you just can’t look there bro. turn your phone vertical, then morph turn into an ant and squint at it if you want to do that. One of the worst problems, Notifications, will randomly stop working all the time or will just never work period for Random streamers. It will work for one person 5 times in a row, then randomly NOT work for months even though the notification button is clearly active.(doesn’t matter what device you have (I have iPhone 13pro, newer iPad and Mac) the only notification you can rely on is if you’re literally on your desktop PC…). Another huge problem is when you’re watching a stream using the minimized player, while the app is running in background…it will very often just STOP the stream randomly, usually between 1-5mins of minimizing the livestream once leaving the app. I almost don’t care about the spammy ads, as there are even bigger problems that I dislike. I’d give this app 1.1 stars instead of 1 for the recent “live” tab to swipe quickly for 2mins of a stream with no ads, but without that this is an app which has mostly degraded and has had features just removed or worsened like the notification system. Your best bet is to always assume that notifications will have no effect, and just hope whichever stream/podcast you watch on twitch at that time also posts “Live” notifications on their social media. Also, the UI is constantly buggy when opening the app/swiping around too quickly, or it will happen after turning your phone sideways. The fix to these glitches often requires closing the livestream and rewatching another preroll ad to get back to the stream you’re no longer going to watch because of it. Anyways, I guess if you’re like the average person you’re just used to the dreadful broken state most apps are in these days because people put up with it! 4.7 totally deserved woohoo!
