Enjoyable, but weird timing

I used to play this all the time—like, every spare moment. It was a beautifully smooth experience. Somewhere along the way, though, the way the notes travel to the “action line” changed.
I like the way you can change the tempo of a song by playing at your own pace, faster or slower than intended. However, trying to keep a consistent tempo is hard because the notes scroll at variable speeds.
If there are notes on every beat it’s fine, but if there’s supposed to be a rest between notes, instead of treating the gap between notes like an intentional feature, the notes high up on the screen zoom really fast to the line. This means that the game basically forces you to play the next note before you’re supposed to. If you try to wait to play it in order to stay on beat, the game penalizes you for playing “too slow” and you lose your score/combo multiplier.
I would love if this could somehow be altered or calibrated! I started playing less and less because of this issue. I really enjoy rhythm games, but this one sort of breaks the “rules” of a rhythm game when it doesn’t let you stay true to the rhythm.
Sorry for the trouble! Thanks for creating this game. I still enjoy it on days when I have a little more patience.

1- rewards. If you finished an achievement (even when you’re connected to the internet) and you claim it, it doesn’t give you rewards. It’s just blank. 2: Sometimes in the composer, it freezes for a few seconds then takes you back to the start. 3: When you’re offline and you level up, it says that you will get your rewards when you’re back online. But when I go back online it does nothing. 4: Watching ads to get 5 smoola does nothing. It just keeps loading until you restart the app, but then it doesn’t give you anything. Fix these bugs I listed and I’ll be happy with this app.
EDIT: If you go at least beyond Level 12 it will trigger a bug that causes you not to get ANY rewards.
I wanna give it a four or five, but I can’t… today.

It’s a fun little app and people can even make their own versions of songs that are familiar to you, including you. You can make one… But it’s like for everything they added. It just made the apple a little bit more frustrating and a little bit worse… I swear the timing is off ever so slightly ever since they added all the xtra…. Anyway, too huge complain complaints of mine one when you go to search and you search for something you know you have in your library… It may not even tell you any results that it gets from your library. It just looks for whatever it can find online. There’s a song I know I have, but I didn’t know who did it… so I literally had to just go through my entire list of songs and hope to get lucky which I did, but it took 20 minutes… to find one song that I just really really really wanted to play and hear. And you are no longer able to watch ads to get smaller to buy new songs because despite being up to Apple’s code, which is bull… Their abs don’t work they go half screen meaning that you cannot collect out of them meaning you cannot earn reward, which is disgusting for an app that is free and expects people to pay for tokens, but gives them the option to watch ads… and then denies them the reward from doing so. And a year later, it’s still not fixed.
Give your apple a little love, not happily bump it back up to four or five but honestly, it doesn’t look like you’ve been giving it love for a long time … just monetizing

I cannot understand why I cannot be grandfathered into some kind of “keep my own music clause” because I have earned all of my achievements a looooooong time agoooo, and really there is nothing left for me to do because apparently you guys lost your way on adding new levels after we reach the end!
Alright if I am at the end where I should be seeing some credits by now if it were a movie and then finishing up and turning it off, it nooo I just sit here and patiently wait, year after year, for new levels, achievements or some of my songs BACK PLEASE THAT I HAVE ALREADY EARNED OR PAYED SMULA FOR!
Come on guys! Get with the program, or should I say when you find the program I would very much appreciate if you guys could expand it or let me have what I’ve rightfully earned after faithfully being a user after all of these years??!!??!?

BUT
This app is terrible. Everything about it. The greedy company, everything.
ADS: My personal experience and from 1 star reviews I have seen, it does play ads before and after every song and it’s so annoying. I can’t do anything without getting a ad and it’s a mood killer and incredibly boring. Apps like these are incredibly greedy, especially with this one shoving the “buy our subscription!” down your throat the second you open the app.
BUGS AND BARELY ANY WAYS TO GET SMOOLA: The way to get the currency, smoola, is in my personal experience difficult. To me, I have not seen any other ways besides leveling up, (I personally got only 1 smoola) and linking your facebook account. I watched the ad to get the 5 smoola, yet so unsuccessful. The new update “bug fixes” is such a lie. The ad was on half of my screen so I couldn’t go to my songs, and I didn’t even get the 5 smoola.
I get I sound like I’m just mad about the fact you can’t get enough currency, but each song is 25 smoola.
If I actually tried to get enough currency for a song, I would have enough for a song by the end of 2-3 months.
THE CREATIVITY: The zero creativity when it came to the difficulties is another thing. Using 3-4 fingers for medium and hard mode. There’s nothing besides just pressing the dots on the screen, and it gets so boring so fast. No half notes? No quarter notes at least? Seriously? This app is not only greedy, but incredibly boring.
The songs you can choose too are also terrible.
COMPOSING: Plus, like another 1 star review I saw, not enough explaining when composing the songs. I got confused halfway through trying to.
OVERALL OPINION: This app needs more ways to get smoola, a better way to scope for bugs, LESS ads, more creativity when it comes to the “notes” (all you do is click dots), less of trying to shove the subscription in your face, and actually give just 2-3 more smoola when you level up, because leveling up and getting only 1 song and 1 smoola feels more like a pity gift.
SUMMARY: This company is nothing but greedy, and this app is horrible. I warn you not to download.

Would be a fun app, but you’re constantly asked to pay for subscription. If not, there’s nothing but ad after ad. Before and after every song. Very annoying. Deleting this app for sure and never using again

(1) The composer is missing keys. The only BARE MINIMUM is the C note octave 2. Why can’t the lowest be the A note octave 0? That makes no sense!
What should you do: add more lower keys!
(2) When I tried to view inside the computer, IT DOES BARELY ANYTHING! NOTHING AT ALL! THIS IS BROKEN! 3 STARS!
What should you do: fix if you can!
(3) Why can’t be the tempo BE MORE MORE THAN 220 BPM! Why is there only two time signatures 3/4 and 4/4? I TRIED MAKING A SONG IN 9/8 TIME! NONSENSE!
What should you do: add more time signatures or add a custom option! The bottom part of the time signature have the options like 1, 2, 4, 8, 16, 32, and 64.

This game is good and all but they desperately need to add more levels because I have no way of getting coins now that I am at the max level.

Now, I’ve been using this for around a year and a half now. Love it. Love playing my favorite songs, love composing songs, love it all. But when it comes to composing, it’s a little difficult. For one, it’s a grid. It would be much easier if it were actual staffs instead. Another, there’s no longer notes than a quarter note. No half notes, dotted quarter notes, whole notes, nothing. It makes it a little hard. I also wish that when you first go to composer, it would give you a little more information then it does. It would make everyone’s life a lot easier. Still love it, tho.
