As a New Yorker, I use this app when I need to see routes I don’t usually take. It’s faster, easier, and more useful than the official MTA app for seeing the layout of the system. One thing, though - give us back our old-style maps. The new map is less useful and I wish MTA hadn’t switched over. It’s harder to read and is utter trash for knowing how the stops align with surface streets. At least give us an option to pull up the old map instead of the new one. With the old map, this app is 5/5. With the new map, I have to dock one because it isn’t as useful.
  • No Refunds, even with trial

I downloaded this and did the 3-day trial. The app had a hard time identifying where I was at causing me to jump on the wrong trains. I stopped using it and found my way where I needed to go. I canceled the app that day but that didn’t matter because I was still charged for the year. I put in a two disputes with Apple saying that the developer denied the request for a refund even though it was applied by mistake. Just Beware, No refunds!
  • Ads done wrong

I get it - the app authors want to monetize. But at this point the app is barely usable with constant intrusive “in your face“ ads. Uninstalling it in favor of something more respectful of their users.

WAY too many invasive pop ups that don’t let you use the app smoothly. There are other free no ad/ non invasive ads options available that I will be using from now on.

St. Nicolas and Frederick Douglass are mislabeled for the B/C line. Otherwise decent.

This app barely works anymore, routes don’t load right away and it takes a reset for them to work. It’s still accurate otherwise
  • Long ads
