While reviewing hints I quite frequently get a message that Ancestry is not working. I also will access my tree and all the lines connecting family members are all wonky. Ther are double and triple lines connecting to nothing. I usually quit and go back later. Sometimes it’s fixed… sometimes it’s not. Quite frustrating

Multiple times today I try to enter a name to search and the screen goes blank & then reverts to Ancestry logo. Frustrating, considering the price of membership!

I decided to renew my subscription so I could see some of the truth and so far all but one are totally wrong. It says I have no pets. I have eight dogs plus cats and it says I don’t play musical instruments yellow play all woodwinds and most percussion and so many more are just so totally far off that I just wasted a whole bunch of money.

Ancestry is a facinating App. If you are interested in your heritage. Ancestry is the place to begin. I have had many questions about where my ancestors lived and how I got here . I now have many answers to these questions and now there are a just a few relatives that I’d like to know just a little more about . GREAT APP

It is very interesting traveling back in the past of my ancestors, and learning about everything I never knew about my history, I just wish the cost was a little cheaper
  • Almost Perfect

This is a great app but it is better on the desktop. If you’re doing ancestry work and American, there really is none better. The only failure of the app is when it comes to stepfamily and adopted family. A prime example is when it locks you out of selecting adoptive parents when trying to connect them in federal or state censuses. Seems like an easy programming tweak.

I haven’t looked at Ancestry in several years. It showed up in my email today, so I opened it again. I noticed that it misnamed my father’s last name. Instead the site lists my father’s birth year, but has assigned him MY married name instead of his birth name. How can I change this? I tried deleting it, but when I open his name again it still lists my married instead of my father’s birth name! Suggestions?
  • Greedy company

They had several interesting features available with the DNA test. Now it’s all locked behind a pay wall. You can still view your matches, but finding out how your related will cost you. Very few free features are left.
