I would love to see which side of my parents do my relatives fall under. I would think our DNA would be able to tell more specifically where my relatives come from.

I made the mistake of deleting the app like they always say to do to fix issues they caused. Now I’m stuck with a new interface that creates more work when adding family or editing dates. With the previous interface, you could click on the person and a box would immediately pop up asking what you want to do. Simple and straightforward. Now it automatically opens the profile and in order to add a person you have to click on the family tab, then click the plus sign, then you get the box to add parent, spouse, child (instead of son/daughter). If I want to add/change a birthdate/place, I have to go into the profile and then click the three dots at the top and then click edit person. I already deleted and reinstalled 3 times hoping it would revert back to the way it was and also contacted your “support” who were no help at all so don’t give me that line of nonsense. Bring back the original simple interface!

I should have the ability to turn off 2 FA and keep it OFF!

Crashes too often. Currently have adequate subscription but cannot click potential ancestors in the app due to the UI that pops up immediately closing. What am I paying for?
  • Stop changing it!

Once again, the latest update deleted what I used every day. Parental relationships are now gone. I would be happy if they just fixed the bugs I have already reported and could keep the app from crashing so I don’t lose my work.

Absolutely positively ridiculous you can not do meaningful research to the nonsensical subscription lock out what was free via the price of the kit, through lines, tree building, dna cousin matches also some people like me who does not have large amounts of money and no credit card what was free via the price of the kit was a big help I got the kit 1w years ago when through lines, tree building dna cousin matches was free to broadly subscription lock everything one can not do meaningful research all I am saying is to restore what was free via the price of the kit please fix this the way it was before the subscription lockout good day to all.

Bought and used Ancestry. Didn’t open it for 10 or 12 months and EVERYTHING is gone. DNA, family tree. No way to retrieve except to re-buy for $99. I recommend using something more solid you can keep and share.
