good for tracking calories but has a lot of bugs and it makes things a lot harder than it has to be

I actually really like some of the features this app offers. Like taking a picture of your food and it giving your macros (although you probably have to adjust it a bit). You can also “text” or tell Siri to track your calories/food. But I REALLY want to be able to pick multiple food items from the recent and favorite tabs. It’s so annoying that I can’t do that. Also, being able to delete foods from the Recent would be cool.
  • AI version Totally Inaccurate

I enjoyed this ap before the AI version replaced it. I am cancelling this ap. AI Results are inaccurate & inflexible. Before ai you could save food items, combinations of food or see similar food items if your product wasn’t recognized in the ap- AI version eliminated these features. I’m ticked I paid for a year subscription and they ruined it with AI. I want the non AI version back!
  • Unsafe calorie recommendations unless you pay

I think this app gives unsafe calorie recommendations and you cannot change it unless you pay for the subscription. It does not take into consideration any physical activity you do when it calculates your recommended calorie intake.
  • Please ditch the AI

This app is no longer useful. The AI is terrible. I type in feta and it says I’ve eaten a totally incorrect number of calories. There is no way to fix it. It also takes longer to track food now. Was this upgrade not tested on users before release?? So disappointed .

New update ruined the app for me.
  • Great features, poor app dev

Used to be a great app that I’ve on/off used since 2014. Recently went back to this app and noticed it doesn’t snap to the current date when you open, it’s stuck on the day the app was last used. It gets stuck and can’t scroll requiring the app to be shut down and restarted. It feels like the app is stuck on internal errors that never used to happen when o first started using the app.
  • Merge the tracking methods…

The new AI method is cool, and it ends there. It makes no sense to me why the old method (clearly organized by breakfast, lunch, dinner, snacks) cannot be used with the new multimodal approach. Why can’t I use the photo feature and cleanly track with the old layout? Once that is fixed, back to five stars. Right now, this is a good example of “what if we used AI and took out everything else helpful”. Is this a beta? The new multi method doesn’t let you add food manually easily (favorites and recents impossible to find and add quickly) which is far more common in my use. Tried taking a photo of an egg sandwich and it shorted the bread calories by 35% and thought there was one egg instead of three. I do think this is useful when you cook something or eat out and don’t know how to track and just need a guess, that’s the ideal use case for this, not as the primary way to track. That is a game changer, as I often fall behind in tracking in restaurant situations. Also, All the food just ends up in one long list instead of cleanly organized and requires timely completion of tracking (rather than flexibility to add at the end of the day). The font looks like back end code garbage. Please MERGE this feature with the old layout. I should be able to click breakfast, add, and then take a photo or click on recent/favorites. Then this will be a great addition to the app, just not as an entirely different tracking method. It’s cool, but not yet usefully optimized. Okay, I actually really enjoy the AI type in the food feature. Please just merge this type of tracking with the easy to use layout from before!!!!!
  • New Version Not User Friendly

Recent changes are not good at all. Taking pictures of food is not accurate. Difficult to log each for item from your favorites compared to previous version. I’ve been used over a year. Replacing with MyFitnessPal. 😔
  • How do we go back to the old version?

I used to love the app. It was easy to use and kept me on track, but since it updated, I haven’t been using the app. This AI feature is ruining it. I want to switch back
