Description

Waking up you’re alone, confused, hungry, and a little sad - just your usual Monday morning really - but wait, what’s that sound? Oh f**k no, they’ve only gone and done it. The machine’s been activated. Equipped with just your wits and a prototype Chronologically Aware Memory Enhancement and Recall Appliance, or C.A.M.E.R.A. for short, you’re now in a race against time to shutdown the machine before the loop resets. Solve puzzles, read strategically placed notes, press buttons, potentially die, and hopefully escape the worst Monday you’ve had in at least a week. Rinse repeat. The second instalment in the Glitch Broken Dreams Collection, Recursion is a compact mystery game chock-full of puzzles, secrets, and questions. Features: • A first person point and click adventure game. • A time-loop mechanic. • A time-loop mechanic. • A time-loop mechanic. • Trademark Glitch humour and puzzles that will leave you screaming at us. • Absolutely no adverts or in app purchases. • The Glitch Camera to help you solve puzzles and keep track of clues. • Lots of clues to find and puzzles to solve. • A beautiful soundtrack and immersive sound effects. • A full Hint System to help you if you get stuck. • 8 save slots, share the game with your family! • Auto-saves your progress! – Glitch Games is a tiny independent ‘studio’ from the UK. • Too much dying to get very far

I’ve played every Glitch game except a couple now I think and I’ve loved them all for the most part. I got to chapter 3 with some walkthrough help and then had to watch a walkthrough video to get through the boxes and finally get that keycard. Went to the elevator, inserted the keycard and then died doing the puzzle. The thought of having to go through all that again and maybe again just to get the keycard is too much for me. I like a challenging game but you also need to feel like you’re accomplishing something and this just didn’t do it for me.
  • New and immersive!

The more I ran through the time loops on this game, the more I remembered the different code sequences. I remembered a lot more than I thought I would, and by pushing buttons in an intuitive way, I felt much more immersed in the game. The sound track helped too, although I turned it off after a while. (It was in my head all day the next day.) Having the time loops made a much different experience and added some adrenaline to an otherwise mostly intellectual puzzle solving game. Love!

I own every glitch game and on preorder;I love them, especially the early ones. But this is the first game I could t finish. Something about having to go back to the start and redo puzzles killed it for me to the point that I abandoned it…personally I’d prefer not to have to revisit puzzles done. In a side note I also love the range and creativity of the earlier games… of late they all seem to be sort of all industrial looking… but excited to play fragile mind now!
  • Its too redundant. I guess the title is self-explanatory.

Glitch is the master of these kind of games but they missed on this one. The puzzles are great but having to start over each time becomes really irritating. I tried playing a second time with UNLIMITED time on the clock but even with that the game is designed where you have to purposely go back to the beginning to finish the puzzles. In my opinion, that is just not a good idea. I’m looking forward to their next release I hope they go back to the Forever Lost design. That series is legendary.
  • Repetitive

I love Glitch games, just not this one. I gave up on the first chapter when I realized it was more of a platformer type game where you “die” and repeat the same steps over and over. I seek out point and click adventure games for this very reason…I hate repetitive arcade games.
  • Gets Boring Repeating Tasks

I have followed Glitch games for years and get so excited when new games come out. This one is a “miss” for me, though. I hate having to do the same tasks over and over. I don’t think I have it in me to finish this one.
  • Crash on start-up

Waste of money. Game crashes almost immediately after launching.
  • One of my favorite game makers, but probably won’t finish this one

I just don’t want to do the same puzzles over and over again to get back to where I was each time I tap something that ends the game. Some might like that. I prefer to just be able to explore without worrying about having to redo everything.
