Airbuds is a widget for best friends to share their listening activity. You and your friends can see what each other are listening to right on your home screens. You can react to songs, play music on the app, and start a conversation. Every Sunday you will receive a recap of your music to share with friends or to your socials. It makes you feel closer to your friends through the music they’re listening to in real time, and to yourself-- authentically sharing your music back to them. HOW IT WORKS: 1.     i loved airbuds for the longest time. genuinely one of my favorite ways to connect with my friends because music is my love language and i love getting to see what they're listening to that i've never heard before. ..and then they just had to introduce a subscription tier that locks multiple things you'd think are so simple you should just have free access to. i understand that it takes money to run an app, but it's just a flat out nuisance when they're shoving it in your face alongside actual unskippable ads too. i had faith in airbuds and i was let down tbh.

    I loved this app. All of a sudden, half the things I unlocked over the past 2 years are now locked again behind a paywall. Not everything needs a subscription. Nobody in their right mind should have to pay for anything on this app. They’re devolving and ruining themselves. Super disappointing to see.

    wellll welllllll well. Did what all the other money hungry apps do, and finally made a “premium” version you have to pay a dollar weekly/three dollars monthly just to see your stats. So disappointed to see one of the best music tracking apps sell their soul for a couple extra bucks. This is why Last.FM and Stats.FM is betterrrr

    why is my ghost mode now limited when it east before like i have to pay to keep my sad songs a secret after two 1hr uses? my problems need music that last longer the just two hrs but im not gonna pay for it so 😬

  • Good App, Could Use More Additions with Subscription

    I like the app, and really enjoy the weekly recaps you can share to instagram. Checked out the premium—and while the new additions are cool on-app, I’d love to see more variations of what gets shared to Instagram. Many the Monthly Recap sharable to some extent as a story, more customization on the weekly recaps, etcetera!

    I likethis app, but the new update is a very faulty—other than the unnecessary paywall, what’s up with the buttons?? It takes like over 10 tries just to turn on ghost mode because the button won’t budge, it’s pretty frustrating….please fix this Airbuds🫠🫠🫠

    i've had an airbuds account for over 400 days and i've gotta say i absolutely love it. it's easily manageable and for pure fun. i've been using airbuds since we had those "airtickets" or wtv we call it, just sucks how i have to pay now despite unlocking literally everything a while ago from sharing the link🫩
