    My daughter and I tried to do this program over the summer between school years. With vacation and other events, we weren’t always able to do the runs on the scheduled days. Sometimes the app would allow the sessions to be moved to later dates, sometimes it wouldn’t. In training weeks 5-8 I just had to measure the sessions on my watch without using the Runna app.

    I’m a beginner. So I tried this running app to get back into it and selected the very beginner mode. The first week was great, a steady pace I can do. Then I realized the second and third week had me walking for 1 minute and running for 4 minutes with a 5.9 mph pace. I got super tired quick, I now have shin splits because of it, and now I feel like it’s impossible for me to continue with this app because I can’t keep up with it and my goal to run a 5K in the set time they told me. In the future, I hope to see this app improve on this aspect.

    I have been consistently running for several years and have seen decent progress. My problem was finding the right workouts and timing them correctly in my build up. This app made a plan for me that seemed aggressive, but actually was the perfect balance of speed and endurance. I have seen incredible progress so far and I credit it to this app. Highly recommend for seasoned runners.

    Their training plans are really well rounded and take all the best training “rules” into account when building plans just for you, your skill level, goals, and time available each week to train. They’ve just added a vacation schedule adjustment feature and I hear that an injury adjustment is coming soon as well.
  • Premium needed for EVERYTHING

    Would give negative stars if I could. I was hopeful with this app. But turns out after you set up an account, you need premium to do ANYTHING, so if you don’t have it, the app is unusable. Basic stuff like viewing your plan, daily runs, sync with Apple Watch/fitbit/etc need to be free features or just CHARGE FOR THE APP and everything within it is included for this price. Otherwise the adds this company runs are misleading about what you can actually do with the app.
