I’ve had my issues with boingo and honestly I’m tired of how unreliable there services are. I never write reviews but this is deserving of a 1 star rating. I just canceled my subscription and look forward to more reliable services from another provider.

I would give it a zero if I could, don’t get this your better off paying more for any other service. Been to every base in the Marine corps but two and it consistently kicks you off and won’t let you sign back in. Once it finally does it won’t even work says you have perfect service but doesn’t work. You’re lucky if you get even three straight days of good connection.

Their WiFi never stays connected. And when it is connected it’s so slow. It was so slow I couldn’t even open the app to cancel it today or open apps to write this review. After a painstakingly long time I was able to get in contact with customer service about by cancellation not being processed until march 25, while I was gonna be billed the 24th. Shady. However the customer service lady was super helpful and nice and was able to resolve the issue. Still does not make up for how bad their internet is and how they try getting every last penny.

Horrendous Internet if you’re trying more than watching a movie. Terrible for gaming
  • Wi-Fi suck

Better off paying the extra little bit for another company to come install a router than deal with this dumpster fire of a WiFi company. It can barely run a streaming service without buffering every 5 minute. Downloads that should take a half hour can take up to 3. Just save yourself the hassle and get a proper WiFi network

This app goes down frequently and customer support is very poor. I try to connect to their internet and it fails to work. Despite this, they still charge an unbelievable price for Wi-Fi service that is unreliable most of the time.

I’d rather give my money to the homeless, they just take advantage of junior military members on base. Just save the money and the head ache and get literally any other internet provider.
  • The Worst Internet Possible

If you want the most inconsistent, lackluster, and honestly worst internet possible, Boing for Military is the right place. This service should honestly be considered a scam. Spotty does not begin to describe Boingo, do not bother paying, you are better off just buying a phone plan and sticking with an infinite data option, rather than wasting your precious money. If they charged $15 a month (that is still overpriced for this service) then maybe it would be worth the energy you will waste getting mad at reconnecting every 15 minutes.
  • Do not use this service

This service is incredibly expensive and goes down constantly. It went down three separate times this weekend. You call them to report an outage and they go “Oh, yeah, I’m not seeing an outage there. Thanks for calling, though.” They don’t care. They’re scalpers, overcharging for garbage service because they know many service members don’t have any other options. Bloodsuckers. You’re better off with literally ANY alternative.
