  • Nice App

It would be nice to have a way to more exercises up or down using your finger instead of having to move it one level at a time using the ‘Move Exercise’ option in the app.

App is definitely improving overtime. Adding post failure tracking (i.e. drop-sets) would get it to 5 stars.

I am an experienced gym rat and was unsure what this app could add, but I gave it a shot. Now I have been using the app for about 4 months and love it. I have seen huge gains in my overall strength. For me, the 5 workouts a week on a 6 week cycle works best. Easy to use. Easy to modify. Wish you could log other workouts, like cardio or sports, and not just weights.

I am super experienced but this doesn’t do anything. Basically I’m writing the workouts for myself. And if I say I’m not able to use machines, it still gives me workouts with machines. SMH.

Love this app. Have been using since it was in beta and have put on about 40lbs of muscle of 4 years
  • Too many reps

Nicely designed app with auto regulation of volume of feedback. 3-4 weeks into my cycle though, volume ballooned to 15-25 reps at lower weights. I started manually entering new higher weights because it just wouldn’t increment weight. The feed back tool needs to be more robust to incorporate lack of stimulus rather than lack of volume. It also should ask for feedback only on exercise rather than body system, because if I get great front delt workout, but bad rear delt, should be able to adjust each independently rather than “shoulder” altogether.

Pros: 1. It’s nice not to have to think about your Meso week to week or create it yourself. 2. The UI is nice and feels more modern than most others. 3. Easy to add exercise or adjust order for the workout. Cons: In Order in my opinion. 1. You have to start your Meso on Monday, no adjusting the start day which is super annoying. 2. Price compared to others. 3. No Cardio log or ability to add that for a warm up or cool down to keep track of that from Meso to Meso. 4. There is no Calendar type tab for date of workout or time etc. It’s a Calendar like Monday, Tuesday - Week 1, Week 2 which is nice but would like a calendar tab to click on day and see what I did in the past instead of trying to hunt down which Meso and day and workout type thing. 4. Exercise library, they have a lot and you can add your own but then the video or feel of it is different then the built in ones. They have like 6-7 exercises I do a lot that I had to add manually.
  • Enhancement Idea

App is great and love the ability to see completed summaries for muscle groups at the completion of the week. Enhancement idea is to have a projected completion bar with dotted lines so you can see what you’re projecting towards so you can add more if needed

The app is super helpful I have been lifting weights over 40 years now and I still I found it helpful . I would suggest including a program or a templates for over 60 as a training program, prioritizing age still doing serious lifting , thanks As an option adding timer for rest periods between sets will be helpful .
