    I initially liked this app a lot. Functions just fine. Has stats. Can flag questions. All that jazz. HOWEVA, I utilized a different physical book as well and the first test I took was nothing like this app. Which scared me...cuz I was awful at the book. Having completed 1000 questions for the SHRM-CP portion of this app, my biggest take away was that I needed to commit to memory a bunch of acts and laws from the Sherman Act to Ledbetter and beyond. The book practice exams had very little of that. I took my SHRM-CP exam today and passed! BUT, I had exactly zero questions asking about laws or acts, zero questions about theory's like SMARTER, PESTLE, Maslow, etc. The app got me prepared for the test by continually taking quizzes and in the test taking mindset. The content did not mimic the actual exam in the slightest.

  • Essential for the PMP

    I was reluctant to use an app for my test prep but it was the only resource that challenged me. I studied all 1100+ questions and took the 3 practice exams and got an AT/AT/AT on my PMP exam! Although the questions were not exactly like the ones in the test, the questions challenged me enough to ensure I was familiar enough with the material to do be able to understand and answer the questions. I highly recommend this app for the PMP and I’ll be back when I’m ready to get another certification!!!

    Practice questions (SHRM-SCP) are nothing like the actual test questions. Both the Situational Judgement and the knowledge questions are framed much differently than presented in this app. The questions in Pocket Prep are very repetitive and the answer can be easily determined through process of elimination by way of words like like “only”, “without” and “ignore”. What a joke and a waste of time. #Fail

  • Passed both ASP and CSP with this app

    This app helped me to successfully pass both exams. It provides explanations for each of the answers along with the references. It also provides metrics to let you know how well you’re doing and what you need to work on. Make sure to purchase the David Yates book along with this App if you’re using it for the ASP/CSP exams.

    I recently took and passed the PHR. pocket prep had very similar questions to the actual exam. I felt more comfortable taking the test because the questions and question formats were all familiar to me by using pocket prep. I highly recommend!

    None of the questions are similar to the CAPM test. Good for concepts but don’t expect the app to substitute reading the handbook.
