This game is nothing like the ad videos, it’s a pay to win map game clone garbage that’s being done 100s times. Avoid

I was on the fence with this game. Now, I say do not bother. There are some interesting aspects of the game, but it’s really a grind fest…. I stopped playing for a few weeks because of the very monotonous grind. I come back, game says I was logged off. Logged back in and got some message about a different server. When I get to the game screen, all of my progress is gone and the game is treating me like a brand new player. If they’re making me start over, screw that. I deleted the game then came over to write this review. Finally the game does not match their ads of game play.

Saw the ad on Instagram. The ad actually looks fun but the game isn’t even close to what the ad is.

Should be illegal to just have an entirely different game than from the ads

I’m a 3.5-year long PAYING player and I’ve quit recently. If you are thinking about playing this game OR any other cousin games (such as Last War etc.), please read this review… 1. The Nature of this game: This is a base building war game, and it’s pay-to-win based. Meaning, if you don’t pay, there’s no strategy or patience that can buy strength. If you don’t care about being competitive but just need a text-based social platform and chill, this is the right game for you, just don’t spend a single cent on it no matter what. 2. The company’s model: this game and other cousin games such as Last War etc. all come from technically the same developer. For the 3.5 years of playing, all they’ve done is to attract more BIG money spenders to spend more over time. They do NOT care about normal free-to-play players or even the mass majority of light spenders. By “light” spenders I mean those who already spent like 50k US dollars within 3 years (yes, 50k dollars in 3 years is too small to notice for them, there are a few players who EACH has spent millions of US dollars it’s not a joke). They only listen to those giant spenders and they always find ways to keep them spending more and more. How do they do that? Well, initially, for 200 US dollars you get an item that boosts your strength, and they release a new one of this kind every single month. For over 3 years there are 40+ such items released and players are fed up with it and stop buying because each same-type item is worth less and less as the quantity goes up more. Then, they introduced another item that can multiply the previous items’ effect…. You either have to spend an extra 150 bucks regularly or you’re out of the loop within weeks. And they just keep this cycle going. For the most recent release of the “important” item, they are insane enough to put out an in-game auction house and the hottest items in there were sold for 10k-30k US dollars EACH. What’s worse, under normal logic, you think with 200 “light” spenders on one team in war events, the 2M player can possibly get swamped right? Well, it used to be the case, which was one of the only “strategy” part of this game, and the company of course took that away few months ago. A giant team with over 200 normal active players can’t even scratch the paint of a giant spender. Participation in most events means close to nothing if you’re facing to a team with one or two overpowered players while you have none. Even if you do have those kind of teammates, it’s them vs. them after all, YOU yourself don’t matter. Anyway, it’s a long review but hope it helps to make decision for you.
