Instacart Shopper: Earn money

I completed all my own boarding and submitted information for my background check on March 20 and the background company they go through notified me the same day that my background check was complete. Except on Instacart they’re saying my background check is still pending in the home screen says it typically takes up to one day for the background checks to complete and then when you click it says it can take up to 10 business days however, when I contacted Support, they didn’t honor any of those time frames and told me I have to wait 21 days not that it could take up to 21 days that I have to wait 21 days because it’s still pending and I’ve spoken to more than four people and none of them could give me a clear explanation on why the company sent a background check was complete but they’re saying it’s up to 21 days for someone just to go look and to see it’s been completed. Another kicker is that they had gave me two welcome new user offers for my orders and they all expired like nine days after I signed up so why would they give me like bonus offers when they knew I couldn’t use them or at least give them to me once my account is activated now I’m starting off with no offers and I guarantee you. They’re not gonna honor those offers once my account does get verified if it ever does. Their customer support is absolutely atrocious instead of explaining anything to you, though just in the chat saying, they’ve told me what they can and there’s nothing else they can help you with with, and no one will do any type of escalation I wouldn’t trust getting money from any type of company or platform where it starts off bad and they obviously have terrible customer.

Instacart has been a good way to earn side income. However, the pay code needs to be updated to reflect gas prices doubling. There are too many batches where the income is too low; it would be breaking even for the shopper with gas/time and does not come close to minimum wage. There is also often batches where the store is much farther away than the closest (exact same) chain grocery store. This could save the client and the shopper money and time.

Batches could pay a little more with gas prices on the rise.

First they lie about all of your tier benefits. Maybe they will work. The upside has not worked for my wife since we started 4 years ago. There is no cash back with upside. They say it’s upside ,upside says it’s them. They believe the customer about every scam and hold you responsible. You will loose money working for Instacart. My fiance has been called so many names by the customers and they are rewarded for it. Quit now

Start at 7 after each batch I find another until I get to the 5/6 batch to get a promo. Searching for 3 hours on the last batch, nothing. I’ve never had issues finding a batch late at night, posting this as offer is expiring, cutting my card as I type this… done, staying to Uber

I like this app. And the pay is decent. However they send me batches that are over an hour away from where I currently am I will be more willing to do them if the pay was a bit more due to gas prices being so insane. Other than that the app is super easy to use and training videos are very helpful.
