  • Opportunistic pricing

    Pretty low for a Catholic company to only allow one year subscriptions for a 3 month program. The App Store claims they have a monthly option but the pop up blocking you from the app only offers $90 for a year. I will gladly do this program for free before I support deceitful practices like that.

  • Won't let me use it at all after 14 days

    After the 14 day free trial, it pretty much forces you to buy it. Why can't i just use it? While i do believe doing Exodus 90 is worth it, this app feels like a money grab. You shouldn't beed the premium features to use the app.

    This is a life-changing program and I’m so happy to be aboard myself, but please, please consider changing back to a monthly subscription model. There are several men I’ve tried to convince to come along with me who were already on the fence, but turned back entirely because they’re not interested in paying for a full year up front (or struggle to). I told them you guys offer discounts through the Apostolate Promise, but as you guys know from men’s ministry, it’s hard enough to get guys to challenge themselves. Most guys I know in our fraternities are just forgoing the app entirely as a result this year. I will happily pay the fee myself, but please consider at least just allowing folks to pay for the three months up front or something. $30 was already a lot, but fair. God bless you all!

    It’s frustrating that they took away the option to pay $10 monthly, if I want to do Exodus 90 for 90 days I shouldn’t have to pay $97. There are other disciplines and spiritual guides you can use throughout the year. It feels like I’m being forced to pay more than I can afford for a spiritual retreat, just so that I can keep up with my fraternity. I’ve done exodus 90 three times now but this is the first time I’ve had to pay almost a hundred dollars, not too happy with that.

    Respectfully, it feels like prices are being raised 200% under the guise of wanting to foster ongoing engagement beyond 90 days. A prior review response rings hollow to me. The core product people want is to aid a 90 day fast. It feels yucky to me to force people into a more costly, longer commitment than they want as it effectively limits the number of people who will be able to take what could be a great spiritual journey due to being priced out. I am aware of the financial assistance offered, but to me that doesn’t really address the point. If you don’t want money to be an obstacle, then don’t make it one.

    I used this app and program last year and loved it. However this year they changed the subscription policy, forcing users to pay $90 for a whole year. This does not make any sense as most people would only be on this program for a few months. Not a good business strategy. Please offer other subscription options (monthly) or make it free with an option for users to freely donate any dollar amount and I will consider using this app again.

    The program itself is great (I have used it for the past several years), and I think the variety (St. Michael’s Lent, Advent, Exodus 90, etc.), and the price is affordable. The app itself is improved (one specific point) because there’s an option to listen to the daily reflection as opposed to reading it on your phone (which I found to lead towards distraction).

    beware that if you sign up they will text you from different numbers perpetually multiple times per week and no matter what you do to report junk and delete they will just text you again with spam advertisement from a new number. This is the opposite of Christ's energy

    I signed up to use Exodus in 2019 with a small group of men. We have gone through everything that Exodus has offered our core group of four men have done all of the Exodus 90 day 91 exercises. The exercises and their content is some of the best I have ever read. Once or twice we took a month off and found that something was missing in our life. After returning to Exodus 90, we realized this is not just something you do for a while, this app and all of its reflections, wisdom, and knowledge that they share is so valuable! we will be doing Exodus for the rest of our lives! I myself am 67 years old, I love the Lord. I love reading scripture I love reading, spiritual books. we find that doing Exodus 90 is just as important as doing morning and evening prayer! Thank you to all of the staff at Exodus 90!
