  • Awesome Free Resource with Small Missing Features

So happy to find this app to view my MRIs from the last couple years! Definitely recommend! Though I did find myself wishing for a couple features that would’ve been very helpful for me, overall awesome quality from a free app :) Thanks Devs! The good: Importing everything was very simple; I couldn’t get the Folder option to work, but multi-selecting files worked very well and the program automatically knew which of 9 studies to add each file to, which was very impressive. The interface is also really easy to use and intuitive, worlds better than the free image viewer that came in my DICOM zip file from the hospital. Suggestions: With the available annotation tools, it would be really nice to be able to add simple straight or dotted lines to help visualize reference points (I just used the distance measure tool, but the additional numbers add clutter to what I’m trying to see). The other thing I really wish I was able to do is pull up images from 2 different studies side-by-side to compare; not even rendered as a full-scan stack, just maybe if certain frames/layers of studies could be flagged or duplicated into single images to work with? I haven’t spent a ton of time in the software, so maybe haven’t figured out all the tools yet, but I wasn’t able to find an obvious way to do these things and thought they’d be useful for others too.

Says it doesn’t support JPEG 2000 which doesn’t make sense. Why would a web viewer support something while a dedicated app wouldn’t?

Worked easily. Was even able to traverse a DropBox folder link to download the images.
  • JPEG 2000 Error

Hi, I have an MRI that was done to my dog and I haven’t been able to take a look of it. I thought that this app would give me the opportunity, however when I import the files and have a look at it, it gives me an JPEG 2000 Error and I don’t know what to do about it. If someone from the app could help me with this I would appreciate the help Thank you
  • Super Simple, but no Volume Render options

Great App! I like how simple the interface is, it doesn’t need to be anything super complicated and they did a great job streamlining it. MPR option is great and works well on iPhone 15 Pro. Unfortunately, there is no Volume Render option. It would really be great to do volume rendering. I have some images of my skull (CT) that would be great to view as a rotatable volume with window/level options.

DICOM files not even supported. Makes no sense. They should be considering this app is supposed to be a DICOM viewer.

It's rare that I leave a review, but it's even rarer that a free app exists for years, works well, has an intuitive interface that doesn't look and feel like a software developer's mock-up sans any UI / UX touches, and lacks ads or in-app purchases. Wow. Since there's no mechanism to pay, I'll just say, on behalf of humanity, thank you.
  • Measurement in pixel

The app is really good for personal use, but the measurement is in pixel.

I like it when things work and do as they should. This app really does as it should. Doctors don’t really give you much time to go over the scans with you in office and this app is a great way for the patient/student to take a look around.

As a healthcare worker I knew I needed a Dicom viewer to view my own x-rays at home on my computer. This is exactly what I needed and it works great. Now I can always get a disc from the radiology office and view them at home and keep for my own health record.
