The app requires an internet connection to open so if you mostly take snapshots the moment you're trying to capture willne gone before the app loads. Also useless in wilderness areas where there is not internet.

I’ve used this app (paid) for product photos for almost 8 years. Never thought about straying because it’s easy to use, and creates stunning photos. Over the last year I’ve noticed that using the presets causes the app to misbehave. After about 8-10 photos it spins for several minutes when you try to save edits, then it inevitably crashes, closes, and takes forever to reopen. I edit hundreds of photos at a time… a task that used to take a few hours now takes almost a day because of the crashing. I’ve been dealing with it because I really don’t want the hassle of getting used to a new app but I can’t take it anymore. I have a deadline and can’t deal with this anymore. Finishing this batch and then ditching it for something more reliable. Very sad… feels like the end of an era.

You cannot use this app if you don’t have internet access in your phone. Even for the paid customers like me. Is so RIDICULOUS!!!, so if you are camping or in a remote location the camera simply doesn’t open.

The app has so many ad trackers that it won’t work unless you’re online and not blocking the trackers (Facebook, TikTok, google, a number of less well known). Using a DNS layer one can see it’s trying to reach out for age-verification (on a camera app??) and a bunch of ad trackers. So the app just won’t work if those are blocked or you’re offline.

I used to love this app - so much so that I've gifted it. Unfortunately, I feel compelled to leave this negative review because I've been unable to reach tech support to solve a likely common problem. (Your support link does not work.) Although I've granted the app full access to my iOS photos, I've been unable to access them. I've tried the customary fixes to no avail. Please tell me how to fix this problem.

Can't even get in to try the app in limited form without agreeing to a year-long subscription (with a 3 day free trial).

Why is the app asking for age verification? And why is the app developer information changed? Did the app get sold to some shady private equity firm? WHAT IS GOING ON?!! Update: Nevermind….I looked at the NEW developer’s website and couldn’t find the country of origin or ANY relevant information, so I AM DONE! I AM DELETING THIS APPLICATION AND LOOKING FOR A NEW CAMERA APP! GOOD RIDDANCE AND GOOD LUCK!!

Update: Now a CAMERA APP needs to verify your age and claims you have no internet. Yes. That’s how bad this dumpsters fire app is! Despite purchasing the app outright or paying for Pro, many of us were unable to use this app for - literally - months. The developers blamed this on Apple, but it was their own greed. Now it appears Pro works but the app still won’t open up if you don’t have internet - so this scammy app can connect to trackers. Don’t waste your money on this garbage.

Update on January 24, 2026 For the past 2 days, I have been unable to save photos to my camera roll. The error message I keep receiving is the following: Save Error An unexpected error occurred while attempting to save to your Camera Roll. I reported this “bug” at least twice since yesterday. Please fix this. I’m afraid of losing all my photos. Phone: iPhone 16 Pro Recently Updated today and currently using iOS 26.2 - Error still received on 1/24/26. Phone: iPhone 16 Pro Previously checked on 1/23/26 with iOS 18.6.2 - Error received. Update on February 9, 2025: After another update, I’ve lost full access to this app, after I paid a large Lifetime membership fee years ago. This shouldn’t happen after every update. I’m subject to ridiculously long ads now. If I want to use the app features more than once, I’m blocked from doing so due to limits. Also, I have the same issues as others. The app takes forever to load, if it does, and needs Wi-Fi to work properly. I used this app for many years, and never needed Wi-Fi. It’s annoying to use an app that won’t load in time, so I end up using the regular iPhone Camera. Ugh. Please fix this mess. Up until the recent update, I was able to use all the features. I upgraded and paid a One Time Fee years ago, and thought this app better than the iPhone camera app. Then, it stopped working properly without Wi-Fi access, which was one of its better qualities. The only feature I’m able to use is the Auto feature. Everything else is considered a “Pro” feature. This is not only unethical, but disgusting. To switch to a subscription service, after many of us have already paid a One Time Fee to be able to use All the features, is infuriating. Also, y’all have done this during the holidays, when we’re in an economic recession, and living during the worst inflation in 40+ years. As another reviewer wrote: Shame on you!
