  • No refunds for not canceling

    I know this review dose not relate to the actual app. My camera was malfunctioning on vacation so I downloaded the app to see if maybe it would work with a 3rd party download. I did the free trail and then got busy and forgot to cancel in the 3 days. I tried to request a refund after the 74 dollar charge was made. They denied my refund so I disputed it and they denied it again. I understand I am at fault for not canceling but making Money off of people this way is ridiculous since I have not and will not use the app

    Coming up for my yearly renewal. The app has not been the best since ios26. Actually most of the times the app willl not open. But since it was not updated in 6 month I wonder if this app is still being supported. I had a life time subscription to this app. But they changed that. So at this point the native iOS 26 apple version does everything without the yearly subscription. Nothing worst then buying a lifetime subscription then it’s not. Also, after ios26 no update at all.

  • Charged for a full year subscription on a trial offer

    I signed up for a free trial to this app and instead was charged for a full $70 yearly subscription immediately. There was no time period to cancel the trial first. Apple support denied a refund because it was “in the app’s policy language”. So in the end left with a $70 charge for a “free trial”. I don’t think I will be able to recover the money unless the app developers respond, so I’m leaving this feedback here. I highly recommend that anybody who is considering a trial in the app not sign up, because you might be charged for a full subscription and no recourse for a refund. Unless you are absolutely sure that you want to purchase the app.

    I hope you don't need this camera app when you're out in the middle of nowhere expecting to get a professional photo of some kind of beautiful scenery... because the app fails to open unless it can phone home over the internet. Making a camera app REQUIRE a data connection is INSANE. This used to be my favorite camera app, I bought it back in the iPhone 3 era, and they ruined it with greed.

  • Worse and worse

    Every few months there are new problems with this app. This time, I can’t access any of my photos and when I try, my camera folder shows as empty even though the app has full access. I’m paid for all the filters years ago…what was the point??

    When editing photos with the pro version it requires you to import all the pics you want to edit before you can edit them. It will not launch as an extension so you can edit straight from the photo. Free version did this seamlessly.

    I *have* to trigger a 3 day trial and potential $70 charge after that just to see if it takes pictures in a way I find agreeable? Sorry, won’t do that. Used to love this app in the pre-subscription-for-everything days. But I don’t need AI or user hostility so I’ll pass entirely.

    Now the app opens occasionally (spinning wheel). This issue happens ~90%, useless. 9/26/25: TOTALLY UNRELIABLE! Too bad there’s no update to fix the apps freezing issue that’s been going on for too long. Will delete app and go with other better camera apps.

  • Doesn’t work

    It’s stuck on one album and won’t let me get back to my main photo album so…. Also they seem to send the same generic message to every review, slightly altered. I guess there’s no actual customer service support either.
