  • Glitching

    For the last couple of months the app glitches whenever you try to set alarms and you can scroll down. This isn’t just me- my friend reached out and asked if I was having issues with the app and she is having the same problem. I can’t believe it hasn’t been fixed. Not sure if it’s a ploy to try and get people to upgrade but when I pay hundreds for something, I expect to get years out of it!

    I love the hatch and everything it does/ can do, but so hate the app and how slow it is. It takes forever to load each and every page, anything you click it takes so long to load and it won’t even let me delete old alarms that I don’t want anymore. It’s an expensive item so there should be a well working app paired with it.

  • Monitor function and sound

    If you turn the sound off on the app often times you can not get it back on through the app. If you turn the machine off and back on at the unit it resumes normal functions. To access the monitor through the app you need to go through a tutorial every time. Hitting the next button five times before the monitor actually works. Absolutely not necessary. (This is new, older versions of the app this did not happen). Of course support just blames it on the model of your hatch device. Roll back your app to the last version Hatch.

    Password recovery link doesn’t work, submit support request button they refer you to literally isn’t there… this app needs SO much work

    I love the function of this device; however a couple things could make the app better. 1. The app takes time to load. Where as other apps when you tap to open are ready to use immediately this app takes seconds to connect. Although not long as a mom these second seem like hours. 2 would love for this app to integrate to the iOS platform. For example connect to the clock app installed natively so that when on the Home Screen instead of your device saying no alarm set it can recognize the alarm is set through this app. Or also see when the alarm is set that it enables the sleep focus or vice versa. 3. Would love for it to connect via the home app (perhaps this would solve for 1&2) and maybe give an option to let your favorite contacts know that this app is enabled and therefore the person is “unavailable” or you could notify anyway in messages if an emergency. Otherwise the best sound machine and app pairing on the market

    Hatch was recommended when I was pregnant and I am so grateful for it. I pay for the subscription because my baby loves the jazz and cello channels. She immediately calms down/sleeps. Thank you for that! Two Hope-fors: 1. Echoing sentiments for more steps in a routine, please! 2. Make an Apple Watch app? I would love to set routines and/or lights up from my watch when I’m out of the room, my hands are otherwise full, or I left my phone in another room and the crying baby is holding me hostage. Thanks for considering!!

  • App is horrible - doesn’t always connect - not worth subscription

  • Ehh it’s fine until it’s not

    Worked fine for a while but after moving I am unable to find it in my account so tried to reconnect it but says it is linked and to find in the devices but no devices listed. Then tried to delete my account since that unregisters any devices but won’t even delete my account keeps giving me an error. Very irritating. When it worked though it was a fine enough app still some glitches here and there but nothing too major

  • Not Enough Customization

    Lots of their additional content come in the form of playlists that you can’t edit. For example, if there is one track in a playlist I really don’t want, there is no option to exclude it. Not really impressed with the customization outside of setting routines.

    I enjoy my hatch BUT it is so limited. I’d like to see more selections for ASMR and podcast to unwind too. Wish they would partner with Headspace, that would be amazing. The color gradient is also very off, it’s not staggered as one might think. Glad I waited and got mine on sale. I can’t imagine paying full price for this .
