  • Good Product - Greedy company

It’s an overpriced speaker that lights up and has 90 percent of the sound behind a pay wall. For 200 I should be able to upload and play whatever I want. One word for the owners - GLUTTONY

As long as you pay them monthly the machine works fine but my Restore stopped after I stopped paying them, it no longer plays the audio or the alarm. I’ve contacted support multiple times with no response.
  • Hatch got way to complicated

I have the Bluetooth hatch and it’s great never any issues. And now with their new one it’s WiFi which made it so complicated and technical. Way too complicated for a sound machine… please stop trying to be so freaking complicated for something that doesn’t need to be complicated… WiFi always has issues not connecting no After the internet connection won’t be a customer again
  • Brutal since update

I love this device and the sounds / light features, but since two updates ago, not only is the connection time painfully slow, but the app often needs to be restarted to have adjustments to light or sound register. Sometimes it will even make the adjustment and then reset itself a second later! With a baby or toddler nap in jeopardy, it is BRUTAL to finally be getting a kid to doze and have the light pop back up to the previous brightness level and wake them or to switch from a lullaby to white noise and increase volume only to have it switch back to lullaby except now at a way-too-loud volume. I never had problems like this before the previous update. I was hoping the latest update would fix it but it didn’t.
  • Glitchiest app Ever!

This app is horrible. By far one of the glitches apps we have ever used and when you’re dealing with a child nighttime routine, that is the absolute last app that you want to be glitchy. Some songs are longer than others, which is annoying as it is, but now some songs turn off the light when the song ends? And then constantly constantly constantly fail to do an action. We hit one of the moon songs or star songs or pop songs and it fails. Have written customer service multiple times for some type of a app update And they never reply
  • Need subscription for everything

I love the hatch for adults and kids. We have both. Love the lights and sound machine. But I can’t believe you have to pay for subscription with how much the adult one is. And now you can’t even listen to the noise on your phone.. you need a subscription for that too!
  • Can‘t use it anymore - No customer support

I bought the Hatch 2gen and it worked just fine. Oke day, I open the app as usual and am forced to update something. I honestly don’t even know, if I’m trying to update the app or the device itself, but the update takes hours and is never complete. It’s just the same screen forever. I can‘t use my phone in the meantime of course… I try all the troubleshoot suggestions in the help center - nothing works and I can‘t even access my Rest via app anymore. I use the help chat (chatbot of course) and get the same troubleshoot suggestions. I tell the bot that I tried everything, but it‘s still not working. The bot gives me an email address, where I should write an email to. I write the email and more than one week later I receive the reply, that they are too busy to help me right now, but I should have patience… Honestly, how can a company, which sells super overpriced nightlights with some sounds can have the audacity to charge extra for „premium sounds“ and still survive with that kind of a customer service?! I‘m just so glad that I did not buy their baby scale for additional 200$, just to throw it out the window…
  • Unusable.

I don’t write reviews often but this machine has infuriated me so much. I just want continuous white noise at a set volume when I turn it on. Apparently that is too much to ask. I only have tried white noise and brown noise because that’s all I’m interested in and they cut in and out throughout the night. The noise doesn’t fully stop but will get incredibly quiet and then come back startling the baby.

  • Have the makers used this for 24 hours?

Update - needs to be manually restarted WAY too often, constantly Back to the original question, no… I don’t think so. I’ve been using it for a few months and the number of glaringly obvious, exceedingly simple functions that are missing are stacking up to a point of frustration and amusement. Example: the clock can either glow. Or be off. The entire point of this device and app is to help set schedules, routines for your child’s sleep, and to support that good sleep. An absolutely obvious feature is for the clock to be on when the light is on… and off when it is off. Any parent knows you can’t have glowing lights in the bedroom of a distractable child. But seeing the time is handy for adults and very useful for some of those schedules, routines. One major, massive, canyon of a gap is the routine functionality. You can have strict, to the minute, “start at 10:15 am” routines. But you can’t have a routine that starts upon request, runs for 10 minutes, etc. I don’t know of a single child on this earth whose routine is precise to the minute, and not being able to do “15 minutes of reading and then bedtime” assisted by a light change is just baffling. It really makes me feel like these makers put out an MVP and have never iterated, or used their own product with an eye for improving. Pay your developers more. Hire another team.
