Not a single lesson for a Jimi Hendrix or Stevie Ray Vaughan song but Hendrix is the thumbnail for the 60’s songs list. Make it make sense🤨.. is it because they were more known for playing on Stratocasters or something?

Picked guitar back up after a bit of an absence. This is making me excited to play again!

The general app and its features make it a fantastic way to start learning the basics of guitar, however at some point you’ll no longer be able to progress through the lessons because of a pop up asking you to start their “free trial”. As far as I’m concerned, there’s no way around this to continue without it. I’m kind of at a loss. Is there a way to bypass the trial and carry on with the free version?

I’ve really enjoyed the app for a couple of years now, daily learning at the age of 53 and this app keeps me inspired, interested and challenged. There is a ton of information and tabs to follow. I imagine even a skilled, well seasoned guitar player would enjoy and appreciate what the app has to offer. Multiple, well known players provide valuable insights through the videos and step by step instructions, and suggestions. Easy to read and play to tabs make it simple to follow and play. There’s also a ton of material to cover and practice in very versatile genres. I can’t imagine ever running out of material to practice and perfect. The content is constantly updated and new material is introduced to the app almost daily, if in fact, weekly. For decades I’ve tried to commit myself to learning on my own and always walked away frustrated with how overwhelming it was to take on all the tabs, notes, chords, techniques and everything to do with learning and playing. This app really helps ease me into learning without overwhelming information pilled on. With very little effort and time I’ve continued improving and learning all of everything there is to know and understand. In essence, this app is as simple as it gets to truly learning how to play guitar. Great job to the team who is producing it.

I started using this app about a month ago, and it has made my progress on guitar so much easier to see! I love being able to select a song and learn in a way that is game-like. Without being a gimmick either! I’m really learning songs and techniques! Plus, the streaks feature makes me eager to play daily and keep my streak going. Highly recommend this to anyone who wants to play guitar!
  • Fun, but….

Using the app is fun and has been helpful, however while I pay the same amount as other users, i have access to fewer songs. I have been told that licensing for the songs is regional, however, licensing rights are, as far as I can tell National. I am in the USA, but do not have access to the same songs as other USA users. I feel a bit cheated, paying the same as those who have a better product.

I have noodled with guitar for a very long time. Took lessons and tried to learn on my own, but not much progress. I am a structure/plan kind of person (how I learn best / acheive goals). This app is AWESOME with step-by-step guidance and feedback that builds one lesson on the other. I learned more in 2 weeks then I have in years trying to learn/understand!!!
