Description

Welltory is your personalized health tracker app. Already loved by 10 million users, featured by TechCrunch, Product Hunt, & Lifehacker. We analyze heart rate variability (HRV) — a heart health marker backed by over 20,000 studies on PubMed — to assess your heart health and overall wellness. Studies show that our HRV measurement method is as accurate as ECGs (EKGs) and heart rate monitors. Plus, we’ve collaborated with University College London, Texas University, and Arizona State University. Johns Hopkins University and Harvard Medical School quoted us in their research papers. But Welltory is more than a heart rate monitor app. It’s a smart companion that lets you see the complete picture of your health in one place. Sync your Apple Watch or connect 1,000+ supported apps & gadgets, from Garmin to Reddit, to track your activity, sleep, productivity, nutrition, meditations and more. Zero information on the app as to which cc is being charged and very difficult to cancel my account.

I have repeatedly tried to cancel this as it wasn’t what I thought it was. I’ve tried their chat bot and help center. Neither has helped me. I just want them to quit charging my debit card. Be careful when subscribing if you aren’t sure about the app because they will continuously charge you for it.

This app is worth the money! I have alot of autoimmune issues and anxiety and depression. This app after only 4 days has helped me come to understand my body on a whole new level.

I’ve been using this app for about six weeks. The analyses can be illuminating but I have a few significant frustrations: 1. Difficulty of navigation. There are so many different screens and tiles and it isn’t intuitive. I thought if I kept spending time daily navigating it would get easier, and it has but I still find only about 40% clear enough to be helpful. 2. The infographics that are informed by aggregated data ought to all have a source pop up that lists what metrics and what device/app as well as explain why certain values were chosen. Ideally, even display the raw data and allow user edit. 3. My biggest gripe is the handling of history data. I can’t see trends or go to specific charts from past days easily or at all. Further, it seems that if I don’t look at a certain graphic one day no data will appear for that item in the future, ruining helpful trend information. This past week I tried to look at every view every day but now when I go back in the “feed” there’s no “yesterday’s heart report” for two days ago. 4. It clearly doesn’t use all the data points the Apple Watch gathers but nowhere does it say why it chooses certain points over others. With stats like hrv, for which there aren’t many readings to begin with, it’s unrealistic to draw conclusions off 2-3 data points in a 24 hour period. I paid for a year subscription and I’m hopeful these shortcomings will be addressed soon but I think I’ll need to seek a different solution until then. I don’t have time to haunt the app just so I don’t get data gaps later.

Beautiful app. Turned on all health data for Welltory in settings, yet nothing updates in the app. I don’t understand why.
  • Poor integration with Garmin

Heart readings from Garmin don’t work. Remains at 0% of reading indefinitely despite choosing Fenix 8 in settings as the input

This is a very informal and useful app. I have a record of my vitals to show my cardiologist how my heart rate is on days I feel under the weather compared to the other days where I feel tired and my energy levels seem lower than normal. I have recommended this app to all my friends who also love it and found it as useful as I have.
